The 15-day long Annapurna base camp trek officially starts from ‘the city of lakes’ Pokhara. With a motive to reach the base of the absolutely majestic Annapurna, the trekkers will travel through beautiful villages and lands with terrace farming, Amazing waterfalls, mountain vistas, and gorgeous dense rhododendron forests slog with the experience of a diverse culture of various ethnic groups.
Exploring Annapurna Base Camp is a great way to experience the beauty of the world's highest mountain range. Located in northern Nepal, Annapurna Base Camp stands at 4,130 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the entire Annapurna massif. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp takes you through the incredible Annapurna region, a landscape rich in culture and history. Along the way, you will traverse through lush forests, cross rushing rivers, and pass through picturesque villages. You will also have the chance to witness incredible flora and fauna, as you climb higher and higher up the mountain. When you finally reach the base camp, you will be surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the world, including the 8,091-meter Annapurna I. Here, you can take in the majestic views, explore the area, and even enjoy a cup of tea at the teahouse.
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, one of our team members will be waiting for your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport. This day comprises a short tour around the hustling and bustling capital and a cultural show during a hearty dinner. We will end the day with a short brief of the trek ad itinerary.
