The trip was perfectly acceptable. The guides, drivers and hotels were very good. Dealing with Luxury Holidays Nepal was a NIGHTMARE. Through Viator they offered to customize the trip. And for this reason I chose this tour over others. But when I went to request the changes the response was very slow in coming and often did not address the requested changes, but reiterated the tour as it was described on Viator! That isn't customizing! I was running out of time for them to make the changes and just booked the Viator tour so I knew I would see something while I was in Nepal. They seemed just as happy to have me book that way which meant no additional tours or income from my visit. When I could see that they were uninterested in any customization, I inquired about a helicopter flight to Annapurna Base Camp that they offered also through Viator. I was told that all this would be discussed at the orientation meeting scheduled for the first night of the tour and before the welcome dinner. Well the representative, who said he would be my guide the following day, showed me a copy of the itinerary and said this is what you paid for and this is what you will get! The promise that the changes I requested were not possible. End of discussion. I asked about the heli-flight and was told it would be taken care of. I had to fight for the welcome dinner that was described in the tour description through Viator, but conveniently left off of the itinerary he handed me. It was clear that I was upset over the handling of my requests. Oddly, the next day, he didn't show up for the tour but sent a replacement! Between the main cities of this trip I was given the option of 5-9 hour drives or for an additional amount (a customization?) I could fly. I flew to Pokhara at about 11:00 am and I was taken to my hotel room to sit for the rest of the day. No activities were planned. The heli-flight was never mentioned until I asked and I was told that the helicopter was being worked on! No offer of flying with another company or the following morning. This company lies and misleads. It makes promises but does not live up to those promises. I have been a travel agent for 8 years and I have never worked with a tour operator as poorly run as this one. No one is in charge, everything seems to be done by a group of unknown number and everything falls between the cracks. Again I want to say the guides, drivers and hotels were very good to excellent. I was even asked by one of the guides to consider giving the company a better rating as the guides and drivers would suffer from a poor rating, but honestly I cannot mislead others who are looking for a tour operator they can trust to respond quickly and tell them the truth.

I had booked the trip with lot of anticipation, the trip turned out to be more than my anticipation. Watching Mount Everest closely was one of the memorable moments in my life. Having Breakfast watching Mount Everest is an extraordinary experience. Thanks to Luxury Holiday Nepal Pvt Ltd for making this happen. Further they had also help for booking accommodation, local sightseeing tours at Katmandu and Pokhara. Entire team is professional, and service extended need to be appreciated.

Dear Resham, Thank you for arranging our tour in Nepal. You were responsive to our suggestions, set up a good itinerary and your ground team were great .. except of course when Hemant was put on the back foot following the debacle with the Everest Heli ride. We are also disappointed that you have not demonstrated management responsibility and though you have provided a token rebate for the heli ride we have yet to receive your final response. Interestingly there was radio silence on the last evening when we were led to believe that one of your team would join us for the farewell dinner and cultural evening .. we were left chasing Pradeep for the travel arrangements for the following morning. Due credit to your ground team especially Pradeep and Rudra. Happy to recommend Luxury Travel but regrettably with reservation as to management commitment and ownership

Dear Resham, Thank you for your explanation but with regret we do not concur with it. We can understand that adverse weather can influence the experience. The fact that Lukla was closed until c 9 am together with an alert to us that we may not land at Everest View means that Air Dynasty knew exactly what the prevailing conditions were. One issue is that the inclement weather meant that we would have a poor chance of Everest viewing. More fundamentally, the heli took us back to Lukla and left us stranded there for almost 3 and a half hours whilst it made 6 commercial flights (it has been explained as emergency rescue flights but we know for a fact that was not the case). A long standing local hotelier and established member of the Lukla community kept in touch with Air Dynasty ground crew and kept us updated. He was annoyed at the way we were being treated. The heli pilot asked after us when ready to return to Kathmandu and when we complained he said he was tired as he had been flying non stop for more than 4.5 hours at that point. We were amongst the last if not the last viewing flight. As happens in the afternoon the weather had got worse and we experienced a lot of turbulence enroute to Kathmandu. We strongly extremely strongly that we were provided an unprofessional service and the flight was provided in bad faith. Had we been told before take-off that we would be secondary to other commercial interests and be left stuck in Lukla for so long we would NOT have embarked. We are well travelled and generally do not take such a strong stand. We booked through you in good faith and expected standard as your ground team have delivered so far. Please consider the above feedback as a serious complaint. We are happy for you to pass this on to Air Dynasty and the authorities as necessary. Await your final response Regards, Kamal

We had one free day in Kathmandu after an Annapurna Base Camp Trek. We really wanted to see Everest during our time in Nepal. We booked with Luxury Holidays Nepal and were completely satisfied with this incredible experience. The day started early at 5am and were promptly picked up. We had to wait a short time for the domestic airport to open and then were weighed while waiting for the helicopter. We flew to Lukla first, then to a point very close to Everest where we divided passengers for safety/altitude reasons. When it was our turn to fly on the segment to see Everest, it was very exciting! We had a wonderful pilot who told us what we were seeing all the while keeping us very safe with his expert skills. We continued on to breakfast at Everest View. We were given vouchers for this. The staff, service, food and view were simply magnificent. I think breakfast was 3-4 courses. We did wait a while for our helicopter, which was actually a nice surprise because there was no rush to leave. We flew back to Kathmandu, stopping in Lukla. This is really a must-do trip, without question worth the price. Seeing Everest for so many hours was an experience beyond words. The breakfast experience was amazing because it really helps you to slow down and take in all the scenery of these enormous and spectacular mountains. The communication and all interactions with the organizer, the drivers, pilots and staff were fantastic. We also lucked out with the weather and had a blue sky day with very few clouds.

I had a fantastic time on the trip. Everything was very well planned out and it all exceeded expectations. The final night, I was taken on a dinner cultural experience by Kushal Baniya and really enjoyed the conversation and the evening. He told me that he had planned most of the trip, and I was extremely grateful for all the hard work that he did and the extra planning that he did to make everything go right. I would book with this company again and highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to have a fantastic time in Nepal.

We loved our Nepal and Bhutan trip with Luxury Holidays Nepal! From the beginning of Biren picking us up at the airport to Holy Himalaya Hotel (front desk staff Rijan and Pridap who helped us out with various requests), to Ram (funny and informative) who took us out on our first day in Kathmandu, took a flight to the Himalayas and got some great pictures of the Daddy of them all, Everest...Then flew to Pokhara and stayed at the beautiful Pokhara Grande with bell staff Subin and Prakash and wait staff Deb Raj taking care of us...Rajesh took us to the sunrise at Sarangkot (stunning) and around Pokhara....Onto Bhutan where Cheki and Chimi picked us up and drove us to Thimphu where we saw the Big Buddha and went to the Painting School and then went to Sangay Arts and Crafts where we bought things that were made at the school (Wangchuk and her aunt were very helpful)...Then Simply Bhutan for cultural dances, etc...Stayed at the beautiful Hotel Lobesa where proprietor Div Sharma catered to our dietary needs and brought out some wonderful Bhutanese wine which we drank on our balcony overlooking the lovely landscape...Back to Paro and saw the National Museum of Bhutan and stayed at the Hotel Olathang....Good food and nice wait staff....We did go to Tiger's Nest (as far as we could go physically) and Cheki and Chimi were willing to take us but we couldn't make it to the top...But it was breathtaking! They treated us like family and there were a few tears when we said goodbye...Altogether a most wonderful trip!!!
