Ace the Himalaya is a trekking and adventure sports agency based in Nepal serving to provide first-class adventure and holiday experience in the Himalayas. The company was established by Prem K Khatry in early 2006 with rather humble beginnings. Born in a remote village, surrounded by lush forest and an endless chain of hills, Khatry was inspired to start a career in travelling as a trekking Sherpa then eventually as a guide.

Incredible trek to Everest Base Camp with Ace the Himalaya! It was a smooth and easy process from start to finish! Madan was our guide and you could tell from the start that he was experienced, well known, and a very respected man on the mountain. Madan made things seamless for us and we were able to enjoy and experience every moment a little more because of it! Our porters Jit and Anil were hardworking young men that had our gear where it needed to be on time every time. They did a great job of making sure our water bottles were always full at every stop and always had great attitudes. I give Ace the Himalaya 10 out of 10 and will defiantly use them for my next adventure without a doubt! Thank you to the whole team at Ace for all your hard work and making this trip an experience of a lifetime!

I'm glad I chose ACE for my trip. Also I'm glad that local people are succeeding in what they do. My experience would not have been the same without the support of the guides. My greetings to Krish and Kali, for sure on my next trip i will ask for them.

Just back from the most amazing EBC trek with Ace the Himalaya. Everything was organised so smoothly from start to finish - we were always so well looked after. Milan, our guide, went above and beyond our expectations - looking out for everyone and always with such professionalism, generosity and patience. On top of all that, always with a smile on his face. Shout out to our assistant guides Hari and Santos as well as Ting Ting and the rest of the porters who tirelessly carried our bags. Would definitely recommend doing the EBC trek with Ace and hope to be back to do others with them in the near future!

This was one of the best tours I have done. ACE were very professional - and our Guide (Nimesh) and Porters (Birkaji & Dil) were exceptional all the way. This is a wonderful experience - highly recommended. I would suggest some training prior to going so you can prepare your body. Altitude sickness is real and can effect anyone at anytime. Try some local hikes prior if you can, it will help you immensely - and avoid taking tablets if you can. Until you have too. There is no need to start prior to your trek.

Our trekking guide Ramesh was terrific; he did everything possible to make our trek comfortable and smooth, and we would recommend him very much. Despite the difficult accommodations at times, he did his best to make things easier. I would give him a five star rating, and I think ACE could have provided more information about the difficulty of the La Bouche East summit hike, as it is steep and involves a bit of steep rope climbing. Also the trek is not for the untrained or faint of heart or those who will not like the cold, lack of modern bathroom facilities in the tea houses at higher altitudes above Namche Bazaar. The climbing sherpa could have been more fluent in English, as that would have helped our hike up the summit.

Awesome Company & Team - Recommended! I recently went on a 23-day Everest Base Camp Trekking trip with Ace the Himalaya and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Rajendra Neupane, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the trek an enjoyable and educational experience. He was always ready to answer any questions we had and provided us with valuable insights into the local culture and customs. The owner of the company, Prem, was equally wonderful, ensuring that everything was organized and that we had a safe and comfortable trip. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure that everyone's needs were met, and even helped me when I fell sick and couldn't finish the Island Peak Expedition. Their kindness and compassion made all the difference during a difficult time. Overall, I would highly recommend Ace the Himalaya and their team for anyone looking for an unforgettable trekking experience in Nepal. They truly care about their clients and are dedicated to providing the best possible service. Thank you again to Rajendra, Prem, and the whole team for an amazing trip!
