Antigua Cerveza is the first and only craft brewery located inside Antigua Guatemala. Proudly being 100% Antigüeña and hand made this craft brewery started in 2012 when 3 friends from different backgrounds decided to join their love for beer and create something unique. They're dedicated to brewing fresh and traditional beers with local and innovative flavors that reflect the rich history of their home town. At Antigua Cerveza, you'll not only find high-quality craft beer, but also a dedicated team who is passionate about the tradition and art of creating new beer styles that appeal to anyone searching for something a bit different.
During our tour you will start by meeting up with the Antigua Cerveza crew in their Cerveteca located in picturesque Calle del Arco, to be picked up by our private transportation to take you to where the magic happens: The Brewery.
You’ll learn about beer making, both basic and in-depth information since the tour is guided by Antigua Cerveza’s knowledgeable staff, who’s also known for quizzing, so stay sharp! Here we’ll be able to taste their 4 main beer styles and learn to differentiate them.
You will have the opportunity to learn the art of serving yourself the perfect Antigua beer and fully enjoy it from tap to the last drop!
To end this awesome journey we’ll head back to their Cerveteca and store where you’ll get one full glass of beer of your liking, either the ones you tasted previously or any experimental in season. And guess what… you get to keep your beautiful 16oz glass to take home as a souvenir!
