The first stop on our walking tour is Antigua’s famous viewpoint: Cerro de la Cruz, offering a fantastic panoramic view of the city. Here you’ll learn about Antigua’s history as the third capital city of the Spanish government and the impact this left behind. You’ll be able to take some beautiful shots of Antigua from above, with volcanoes Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango in the background.
After seeing the city from above, we will walk back through Antigua’s beautiful streets and visit the famous and important places in Antigua, including churches, ruins, monuments, the local market, the central park and more. Important highlights of the walking tour include the famous La Merced Church and the Arco de Santa Catalina.
