Depart your hometown and head to London.
Welcome to London! Arrive on your International flight to London. We will be met by our private driver and transferred to our centrally located hotel.
After a quick freshen up we will meet our local guide and head out on an overview of the city, including a visit to the Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels.
The Crown Jewels have been stored and displayed at the Tower of London since 1661, continuing a long tradition of storing precious objects here. This magnificent world-famous collection of 23,578 gemstones is part of the Royal Collection and boasts items that are still used in royal ceremonies today. We will discover more stories about the Crown Jewels than ever before in an exhibition exploring their history and significance. We'll find the Crown Jewels under armed guard in the Jewel House at the Tower of London. These gems are a unique working collection of royal regalia and are still regularly used by the monarch for important national ceremonies, such as the State Opening of Parliament. Make sure to look out for the 'in use' signs.
Tonight, we will enjoy a Welcome Dinner together at a local restaurant.
Overnight London, The Tower Hotel or similar
After breakfast at the hotel, we will meet our local guide and driver for a day of sightseeing and shopping! We will visit a local auction house (e.g. Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Bonham’s- final itinerary will be confirmed closer to time) and enjoy lunch at Sotheby’s restaurant. The afternoon will be spent at the Silver Vaults, exploring and shopping.
Located in the heart of The City of London, beneath Chancery Lane, the London Silver Vaults offers the largest retail selection of fine antique and contemporary silver in the world. A unique underground shopping destination, the Vaults originally opened in 1885 as The Chancery Lane Safe Deposit, but soon became also a secure selling place for London’s silver and jewelry dealers.

Burghley is one of the largest and grandest surviving houses of the sixteenth century and a wonderful example of the great Elizabethan ‘prodigy’ houses, built to honor the Queen. Conceived by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, and built between 1555 and 1587, Burghley is a testament to the ambition and vision of the most powerful courtier of the first Elizabethan age.
After the guided tour, you will have some free time to enjoy lunch at one of the cafes onsite or explore the gardens before we continue on to Newark-on-Trent.
