      About this trip

      Theme: Dosha Gati, Rogamarga & Samprapti

       Make clinical assessments based on the six stages of disease according to the Ayurvedic Principles. At this retreat, you will explore:

      1. Understanding nidana, purva rupa and rupa in pathologies;
      2. Using upasyay and anupasaya as tools to effect lakshanas and pathologies;
      3. Understanding the roga marga and three paths for disease;
      4. Sad Kriya kala and how to map all stages of sampraprti;
      5. Nadi Pariksa.

      This week is dedicated to building greater confidence as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner.

      The residential week offers you the opportunity to be in community. Cultivating sattva under the guidance of Kim Valeri Povey is a transformative theme throughout the week. She will guide you in sattvic practices that begin each day at yoga practice and are woven during meals and throughout the day, both in and out of the classroom.

      Client Encounters

      1. Students already enrolled in an Ayurvedic Health Counselor program with a NAMA-recognized school or not.

      The week was very rich in learning and client experiences. We started each day with yoga and every day was very full of information, experiential and work with practice clients. The kitchen staff went out of their way to make our meals as Ayurvedic as they could and they put a lot of love in to the food. Thanks for the great time
