 Mike co-hosts the podcast Talking Scripture with his colleague Bryce  Dunford. He loves to grapple with the “messiness” of the Bible and “geek  out” on the original languages and ancient cultural context. Mike is  passionate about teaching scripture and has been an instructor for  Seminaries & Institutes of Religion since 1993. His current  assignment is at the Salt Lake Institute of Religion adjacent to the  University of Utah. He earned a Master’s Degree in Education in 2001 and  is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Utah in World  Languages & Cultures, Comparative LIterary & Cultural Studies  with an emphasis on Classical Greek and Biblical Hebrew.
