Any Texas Bandmaster Association attendee is welcome to sit in and observe the workshop at no additional charge.

Ten (10) participants will be chosen to have two 15-minute conducting/rehearsing sessions with the Coppell HS Wind Ensemble while receiving coaching and feedback from clinicians Larry Livingston and Robert Herrings. 

If selected there will be no additional cost to participate in the workshop.  Only fee is the application fee.

Sessions will take place July 20, 2023 in the Starlight room from 10:00am-5:00pm.  You must be registered for the 2023 Texas Bandmasters Association Convention to participate in the workshop.  Deadline is July 1st.  Click to register for TBA: https://texasbandmasters.org/band-director-registration-2023/  

After provided input from participating conductors, each participant will select two contrasting selections from the following pieces:

Music for conductors will be selected at a later date. 

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their sessions and have lunch (provided) with Larry Livingston and Robert Herrings. 

Please make sure to upload a recording or a video of you conducing your ensemble when you register..  

Participants will be selected by our clincians.
