Recognized as one of the largest natural canyons on our planet, the Colca Canyon Valley offers some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the Andes mountain range, as well as a great opportunity for adventure sports, such as hiking inside the canyon and mountaineering in the gigantic volcanoes and snow-capped mountains that surround Arequipa. Deep in the canyon there are green oases adorned with tropical palm trees and relaxing hot springs where all hikers are welcome. The Colca Valley is a small paradise, where a generous river, created millions of years ago, still flows through the agricultural fields of the native people of the area.
