About this trip

Join Linda and Damian Small's wine group traveling through the heart of Argentina.Visiting Buenos Aires, the Iguazu Falls, and the Mendoza Wine Regions. Designed for curious travelers eager to immerse themselves in the local culture and its flavors.

This is a truly authentic experience, created by a local specialist in wine and luxury travel.

Buenos Aires Experience The trip begins in Buenos Aires, where you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel, where you can rest. We will have lunch together and enjoy a comprehensive city tour. At night, we will experience an authentic Tango tour and dinner.

On the second day, we'll escape to the countryside for an authentic estancia day experience at El Ombú de Areco, where you'll immerse yourself in genuine gaucho traditions, enjoy horseback riding, traditional asado, and folk music in Argentina's pure countryside.

On day three, we'll enjoy a short city tour of Buenos Aires before taking our flight to Iguazu during the afternoon.

Iguazu Falls Adventure

Once in Iguazu, we will rest, and we will spend three days exploring this natural wonder. The first day visiting the Brazilian National Park, the second day discovering the Argentine side, and on the third day we'll venture to the Wanda Mines to explore these fascinating semi-precious stone mines, where you'll discover amethyst, agate, and other beautiful minerals formed millions of years ago.

Mendoza Wine Country

We will visit Mendoza, where you'll discover the culture and city, along with the vineyards nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

My deep knowledge and carefully curated wine tours are not just for connoisseurs, but for anyone who appreciates the art and soul of winemaking. You'll have the chance to meet passionate winemakers, explore boutique wineries, and savor the region's renowned Malbec and other wines while learning about the fascinating history and traditions of Argentine wine. Two days in Potrerillos will be perfect to relax...

Culinary Journey

But it's not just about the wine; I believe food is an integral part of any culture. That's why we'll take you on a culinary journey to hidden places that only a local would know, where you'll savor traditional cuisine paired with exquisite local wines. From cozy, family-run bodegas to charming wine estates, you'll enjoy exclusive food and drink experiences that will truly delight your senses.

Your Host I aim to create an intimate and personalized experience with a small group of passionate people about discovering new wine experiences. No pretentiousness here, just genuine hospitality and a warm embrace of Argentine culture.

Some details about me: I was born and raised in Mendoza, the world-famous wine region, and I studied business administration. I have traveled all around Argentina, and I love wine (I usually make wine in my garage - I have some good winemaker friends who help me with this).

I am a healthy and very active person. I practice martial arts, ride my bike, and love the outdoors, wine, sharing experiences, and learning from new people.

We had a great time. Miguel, our driver and host was very knowledgeable and a great driver. The small family run wineries chosen by the company were exactly what we asked for and exceeded our expectations. The lunch visits were deliciously prepared and paired excellently with the wine.

What a wonderful trip! Claudio put together the perfect 10 day tour of the wine regions of Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. He made sure that all our needs were met and took good care of us. He chose a good selection of different types of wineries to visit as well as places to dine. All the local guides, drivers and hotel choices were all people and places that he obviously took time to vet and trusted. We returned home safely, with so much more knowledge and appreciation of South America - its culture and wines. We highly recommend Borravino Wine Tours and would definitely be interested in Claudio’s wine tour of Spain when it becomes available.

Our trip was amazing, and Claudio’s knowledge of wine and his selection of wineries visited allowed us to experience the best of each wine region visited. In addition, the personal care given to us couldn’t have been any better. My wife had recently had hip surgery and Claudio went out of his way to make sure she didn’t miss out on anything.
