About this trip

Such a fabulous trip! It was great reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. Galveston, Dickens on the Strand, Moody Gardens, and the Tall Ship were fun. Our hotel was amazing! Another exciting adventure! Thanks Zachary Travel and Nancy!

I had a wonderful time - first time on a trip alone and everyone was so friendly and helpful!  Really enjoyed the carefree trip from dropping us off and picking us up at the door of the theater to the cooking class which was informative and enjoyable.  The ride home in the rain was so nice to not have to worry about the roads.  I just sat back and enjoyed the ride. What a great way to spend a day!  Would highly recommend Zachary Travel as they are first class all the way!  

Wicked at The Saenger

What fun!  It was my first time ever to visit Branson.   The shows selected for us were excellent!  The food was OK, but certainly not gourmet....but tasty and filling.  The only criticism I had is that the bus ride was too long.  Maybe break it up into two days going...Stop in Little Rock for the Clinton Library tour and maybe spend a night there.   Just a suggestion.  Loved meeting new people and had a blast!  Congratulations on a great trip!  Good value for the money we paid!  Thank you.

Exciting trip and absolutely wonderful!!  Loved the Christmas shows in Branson, the places we ate, plus the free time we had to shop and do what we wanted.  I did this trip 2 years ago and may do it again in the future!

Italy 2023

Italy was a trip of a lifetime!  ZTC did a wonderful job on hotel selections; the rooms (beds and bathrooms) were above average for European hotels.  The trip was fast-paced going from place to place and a lot of walking involved...must have good walking shoes and be in good walking shape. The Quark Hotel in Milan was a bit far out...prefer  hotels near city center so you can go explore a little on your own like we did in the other towns.  The hotel in Venice was a little out of the city center, but not far and easily walkable. It was in a quiet part of town, which was nice. I would stay there again. The walk along the water promenade was very pretty and only a short distance to "restaurant row."  The free day on Lake Como in the village of Bellagio was absolutely wonderful as were the stops at Cortona and Assisi  when we travelled from Florence to Rome. The tour busses were very comfortable and we always would have a nice comfort stop when we were on the road between cities.  Florence and Rome were both magnificent--The Duomo, statue of David, The Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Coliseum--all the things you should see when you go to these places. An extra day in Florence and Rome would have been nice. The Leaning Tower of Pisa was a very interesting tour---much better than I expected.   Sorrento and Capri were glorious!!  The hotel views were breathtaking.  All of the meals during the trip were delicious--and great hotel breakfasts!  The guides in the different cities were excellent and seemed to be quite experts about the history.  We had a small and very friendly group of people travelling together for this trip.  Don't miss this trip if you can help it!  Thank you Sara and Kellie for the personal attention, and Thank You ZTC!!

Great work was done to accomodate the need for getting us to New York , preferably non stop.   Everything was handled very professionally and we received a good price and had perfect flights both times.

I had a great trip.  I was traveling alone but met lots of wonderful people, seemed like I knew them forever!  Hotels were great and food was good.  Our tour guide (Sammy) had a wealth of knowledge about the Holy Land.  It was a great trip,,

Mackinac Island 2023

The activities were interesting and well planned. The hotel accommodations were comfortable and well located. Our favorite part was Mackinac Island and The Grand Hotel. The staff were excellent, the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The tulips in Holland, MI were also beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful mother-daughter trip with my mom!

I had a great time! Laurel was such a cute little town to explore. I had been to Bellingrath Gardens several times, BUT I had never toured the home and I had never been there this time of year so I saw lots of new things. Also made some wonderful new friends/travel buddies!

First bus trip through Zachary Travel.  I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.  I was impressed with how efficiently the trip was planned.  First rate hotels and a few surprises thrown in on the trip.  Very comfortable on the bus and the accommodations with first class all the way.  People were very friendly both on the bus and at the places we stayed.  I couldn't think of anything they could improve.  Very happy with the experience and I plan to go on more trips planned by Zachary Travel.

I enjoyed Santa Fe. It was a beautiful city and it was interesting to learn about a different culture. I enjoyed meeting my fellow travelers.

We enjoyed the trip very much. Great group of people. Hotels and locations could be improved. I think a tour of Churchill Downs should be included, not just a stop.  We did not take Blue Ridge On way home. We never made it to top of mountain in Killington. We did not see covered bridges on Kancamagus highway.  

New England Fall Foliage 2 2022

We just returned from a full week in Italy - Venice, Florence, Rome, and some visits to the picturesque Tuscan countryside, and Pompeii ruins, as well. It was a wonderful time with our tour leader and fellow travelers. A really beautiful country, something to see in person. All the pasta, pizza, and gelato you can eat! The local guides were fantastic, and really passionate about the history of their homeland. I’m still reviewing all of our pictures and will be re-living the experience for some time to come. I highly recommend for you to visit Italy and to see the sites and living history in person. We will be looking forward to our next tour destination.

Cape Cod 2022 with Zachary Travel was a wonderful adventure! All details were expertly organized and handled, from the office staff to our guide, Scott Miles and expert motor coach driver, Keith. I would love to travel this itinerary again. Some stops along the way were unforgettable surprises, such as coastal Connecticut on the way home. The step-on guides in Boston and Cape Cod were friendly and very knowledgeable. Shout out to Marcia, who loved showing us Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. If you ever have an opportunity to book this particular trip, you’ll be glad you did.

Cape Cod 2022

Had a great time and met lots of new friends.  You did a good job on the tour schedules and the accomodations were good choices except for the ones that allow pets!!!  Will definately book more trips.  Thank you for taking care of the travelers that had some medical problems.  

I had a great time! Everything was super organzied, and  we saw so many beautiful sites in every state we passed through. I made some new friends. Nancy Horn was the best tour guide ever!

Best of all, all I had to do was pay and show up and Zachary did the rest! Definately the way to travel, and I will be using them again next year for my vacation.

The only hard part is deciding where to go! LOL! Thank You Zachary Travel for all that you do!

I had a great time.  All the planning resulted in a smooth operation for this epoch event, the 150th Open.

The trip was good but way too much time for shopping.  There is just enough stores for the time allotted for shopping.  Other wise the trip was great 

Pioneer Woman's Mercantile 2022

A wide variety  of stops.  The amish farm food was good.  The landscape was great with the rolling hills and farm houses.  It was unique in the buggy's being on the road..  The homemade quilts were very pretty.  If you want to buy one bring money.  They cost around 800-2000.

Yellowstone In Winter 2022

The scenery was great.  We saw lots of animals, lizards and birds. The hot springs were great.  Make certain if you go to work out on a stairmaster.  You will going down and up mountains.  Some hotels did not have hot water for showers.  The sunsets on the beach was nice.  They do accept american money.  Bad part was wearing a mask all the time and having to get a Covid-19 Test to come back home.

Costa Rica 2022

Great trip, very well planned. Travel agent, Sara, I think was very on hand for anything. Beautiful gardens!

Bellingrath Christmas

The guide was very nice. The bus was clean.  
The lunch stop was very disappointing.  There are so many better lunch spots in Gulfport than a Food Court.  There are so many better shopping spots in Gulfport than a outlet mall.  It would have been better to go straight to Bellingrath. (Leaving after lunch) 
The Bellingrath lights and home tour were awesome.  But we waited 40 minutes in line for dinner and they ran out of food.  


Enjoyable experience. Susannah was energetic and friendly. Beautiful Christmas lights, good convenient hotel location and breakfast vouchers for across the street (no longer open, just 7am-11pm). Saw Rockettes and Broadway play. Did lots of sightseeing on freezing (brrr!!!) open air buses - needed touch phone gloves and more clothes for the rides!! Missed seeing 9/11 museum b/c of not knowing we needed advance reservations. Ate variety of good foods and did a lot of walking!! 

New York Christmas

We enjoyed the trip to Bellingrath very much. The lights were gorgeous. We would like to go back in the spring sometime to see all the flowers. 

This trip was excellent.  Great accomodations, the train trips were excellent.  And listening to Dr. Barnes history on all these different places that we went through was so interesting!  I would do this trip again!

Colorado with Trains

Thank you Deborah for your thoughts. We agree that there were some issues with a couple of the hotels and will be working to correct that for future trips. Hope to see you travel with us again soon!

We had a great time. I commend everyone for their hard work in putting it all together during Covid issues. The reason I didn’t give you all a 5 is because the Accomidations (especially the Wyndham) were subpar and less than I remember from past trips.

What an awesome trip: seeing many states I've never visited, meeting such congenial fellow travelers & being led by our wonderful tour guide Nancy Horn. It was well-planned that we had several days spent in Yellowstone Natl Park, entering from different entrances over those days. This plan gave us a chance to see various sections of the park, not spending a short, concentrated time in just certain main spots. And walking across the MS River headwaters was one of my favorite activities--so amazing our wide MS of BR begins as a small stream! 

We thoroughly enjoy taking trips through Zachary Travel. They are really nice people who do their very best to show America and the world to their clients. This was our 3rd trip with them; there will be more.

Yellowstone (w/Dakotas)

This is a trip of a lifetime.  The absolute best of the United States to see Mount Rushmore on the 4th of July, then travel through Yellowstone, which is so amazing, through the badlands, Grand Tetons, Jackson WY, Billings MT very beautiful scenery and so much wildlife. No better way to see these places than on a bus tour and Zachary Travel is certainly the best organizers, trip planners and have the ability to make each day better than the day before.  My all time favorite tour company!!

The trip was amazing.  Lots of bus time but well worth it.  Scenery was magnificent and the way it was organized made for a great adventure.  Accomidations and meals were good.  I recommend this trip for all.  You get to see a beautiful part of America and experience the history of the West.  Thanks to Nancy for keeping us on track.  Great trip. 

This was my second trip with Zachary Travel, and first motorcoach tour. Great group! Enjoyed meeting the fellow travelers. Wonderful guide, Nancy, and staff. They do a really good job of stopping at points of interest along the entire route. Saw spectacular sights of Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Badlands, Bighorn National Forest, and too many other places to list. Was introduced to some states I may not have otherwise visited. In total, we visited 13 states outside of Louisiana. I recommend this tour and organization. Good people. We will be back for future trips I’m sure, both international and domestic.
