In this workshop I will pinpoint the common issues that make arm balances challenging, and show you effective ways to address them (and no, it's not just about arm strength). In the process, you will also learn how to manage your ego in your yoga practice and how to experience joy even under challenging circumstances.
Introduction to arm balances and underlying bio mechanics, with a focus on hip range of motion, and on simplifing arm balances to make them truly accessible. We will cover Crow, Side Crow, Dwi Pada Koundinyasana, Eka Pada Koundinyasana I, Eka Hasta Bhujasana, and Handstand.
