Come color with Nichole Montanez at this women's art retreat held in the shadow of Pikes Peak, nestled at base of the mountain in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. Spend 4 nights and 5 days learning the art of portraiture while exploring Crayola crayon as a serious fine art medium – all while enjoying the scenic views of this mountain town and nearby destinations – including historic Manitou Springs.

Wine will be available at each of the dinners but otherwise, you are welcome to bring your own and store in the kitchen.

Individual exploration will require your own transport.

You will be responsible for airfare and travel expense.

The Outlook Lodge is within walking distance of Green Box Arts. There will be space for a single room and 3 shared rooms. Shared bathrooms. Fireplace. In-room dining. Hot tub.

Lodging

Crayola crayons, archival paper and easels

Supplies

A private chef will prepare breakfasts, lunches and two dinners. We will also have snacks and bottled water.

Food

You will be taken to and from the Colorado Springs airport and shuttled to organized events.

We will have a relaxing yoga session each morning to start our day

This exclusive retreat is being held at the world famous Green Box Arts location. Green Box is home to artists from all over the world with exhibits currently on display by some of Colorado's own.<h2>"What is Green Box?</h2>A state of mind.&nbsp; An energized community.&nbsp; A place to quiet or expand the mind, often at the same time.&nbsp; Green Box provides exemplary visual and performing arts experiences through events anchored by our annual summer arts festival which started in 2009, along with a series of programming throughout the year, with something available every single day of the year."

Immerse yourself in the arts

Each day will begin with relaxing yoga on the lawn, then breakfast prepared by our own personal chef. After which, we will walk over to a three-to-four-hour workshop in one of their private artist studios with access to the lawn and farm stand. Following class, we'll head to lunch. Afternoons will be for personal exploration except for 2 organized outings TBD. We will kick off our first night at a family-style, 5-course meal by our private chef. And we will conclude with a 3-course dinner. You will have the remaining nights to explore local cuisine.

What to expect

This retreat is very much about exploring your creative side. You will learn to see and render the human face using every color in the crayon box. You will come away with a better understanding of shading, undertones and building form. At the end of our time together you will have a piece to take home along with a certificate of completion.
