About your trip

Join an unforgettable mind body Asana Wellness Yoga Retreat for seven days and six nights in lush Nicaragua. You will immerse yourself in yoga, breathwork, meditation and mental wellness workshops. All levels are welcome, however a familiarity with physical yoga is beneficial. You will stay in beautiful poolside cabanas, which are also a skip away from the ocean. You will be nourished by delicious plant based food. Included is one amazing excursion: a volcano hiking tour or mangrove boat tour. Come relax, move, get into your body and explore your true self. Your host Eleanor McGroarty, a 500 hour Yoga Teacher and psychologist, will be there to guide you at the beautiful Still Salty Escape: www.stillsaltyescape.com.

What's included

Amazing Amenities

Still Salty Escape will be occupied exclusively by your group. Amenities include: yoga shala, meditation shala, pool with lounge chairs, hammocks, beautiful dinning area and beach access

Accommodation

Stay in spacious gorgeous cabanas. Wifi on sight and housekeeping are provided

Yoga Classes

Dive deep into your yoga practice with six guided asana and pranayama breath work classes in phenomenal yoga shala. All levels are welcome!

Guided Meditations

Discover inner peace and balance with daily guided meditation sessions in a variety of gorgeous natural settings

Plant Based Meals

Savour delectable, nourishing plant based cuisine (and organic eggs from resort) that fuels both body and soul, with options suitable for dietary restrictions. Three meals and one snack offered daily

Coaching Sessions

Take advantage of optional coaching sessions that provide support, goal setting and guidance before and after the retreat

Wellness Workshops

Develop self exploration, emotional regulation and useful mind-body connection tools with 2 mental wellness and development workshops

Explorative Activities

Included (depending on weather and group preference) will be a volcano hiking tour OR boating mangrove tour with optional wake surfing

International and or domestic airfare

Transportation

International or domestic transportation of any kind (ferries, buses, taxis, motorbikes etc.)

Airport Transport

Cost is not included in the retreat package, however it can be arranged via Asana Wellness host and Still Salty Escape

Visa

Costs or processing fees of any necessary visa to entry Nicaragua or for travel to destination

Traveler insurance

Any insurance such as trip cancellation insurance, flight insurance or medical insurance (highly recommended)

Airport Tax

Cost of airport tax upon arrival and/or departure (often included in price of plane ticket)

Additional Accomodation

Additional accomodation bookings (such as hotel or hostel) for those arriving earlier or leaving later

Additional tours treks

Surfing rentals and/or lessons could be an option during breaks! Available at extra costs

Personal shopping

Personal shopping, such as expenses and souvenirs

Vacines or Medical

Vaccinations or medical needs pertaining to the travel or necessary during your time

Beverages

Soda, juices or smoothies are available at Still Salty Escape at extra cost. Coffee, tea and water are included

Day 1: Sunday March 24

2:00 pm - check-in begins at Still Salty Escape

4:00 pm - yoga and breathwork (1 hour)

6:00 pm - welcoming ceremony and guided meditation

7:00 pm - dinner


Day 2: Monday March 25

7:00 am - tea, coffee and light snack

8:30 am - breakfast

10:30 am - yoga and breathwork (1.5 hours)

1:00 pm - lunch

2:00 pm -  free time (journal, pool swim, walk, relax)

4:00 pm  - mind-body connection and wellness workshop (1.5 hours)

6:00 pm - beachside guided meditation at sunset (15 minutes)

7:00 pm - dinner


Day 3: Tuesday March 26

7:00 am - tea, coffee and light snack

8:30 am - breakfast

10:30 am - yoga and breathwork (1 hour and 45 minutes)

1:00 pm - lunch

2:00 pm -  free time (journal, pool swim, walk, relax)

6:00 pm - guided meditation at sunset (15 minutes)

Day 4: Wednesday March 27

7:00 am - tea, coffee and light snack

8:00 am - meditation in yoga shala

8:30 am - breakfast

10:30 am - yoga and breathwork (1 hour and 15 minutes)

12:00 pm - lunch

1:00 pm -  volcano tour or mangrove tour 

7:30 pm - dinner


Day 5: Thursday March 28

7:00 am - tea, coffee and light snack

8:30 am - breakfast

10:30 am - yoga and breathwork (1 hour and 45 minutes)

1:00 pm - lunch

2:00 pm -  free time (journal, pool swim, walk, relax)

6:00 pm - beachside guided meditation at sunset (15 minutes)

Day 6: Friday March 29

7:00 am - tea, coffee and light snack

About your organizer

Eleanor McGroarty is an avid world traveller, teacher of yoga and pilates and clinical psychologist. Eleanor has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching since 2019. She has completed a 200 hour certification with InnerSea Yoga Academy and a 300 hour from Glow Yoga. Her specialities are in guided meditation, mind body holistic health, empowering movement, and modern day applications of yoga philosophy.
