Enjoy a unique experience beneath one of the world's most spectacular night skies with our Astrophotography Tour in San Pedro de Atacama. We will travel approximately 10 km from the center of San Pedro de Atacama to a location with minimal light pollution—an ideal spot for stargazing and uncovering some of the universe's secrets.

21:00 – We will meet at the agency located in the center of San Pedro de Atacama. From there, we will board our shared transport to head to the stargazing site.

After a 10- to 15-minute drive, we will arrive at a site near San Pedro de Atacama, situated far from major sources of artificial light. This location offers optimal conditions for observing the night sky.

We will begin the experience with an explanation of the Andean worldview and how indigenous peoples observed and interpreted the sky. We will learn about the relationship between the stars, constellations, and Andean traditions.

Next, we will observe the sky using a telescope. Depending on the night's conditions and the position of celestial bodies, we may view planets, stars, and other astronomical objects, appreciating details invisible to the naked eye.

Finally, it will be time to capture a special memory of the experience. We will hold a photo session with the starry sky as a backdrop, taking full advantage of the location's minimal light pollution.

Once the activity concludes, we will board the vehicle again to return to San Pedro de Atacama.
