We had an excellent sunrise photo shoot with Kevin from Sedona Photo Tours. He took us to a beautiful spot along the Yavapai Trail and provided thoughtful, hands-on coaching throughout the session. Kevin was great at explaining composition, understanding light direction, and making small adjustments that made a big difference in our images. What we really appreciated was his ability to tailor guidance to our skill level while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable. We came away with several shots we’re genuinely proud of—and learned techniques we’ll use going forward. Highly recommend Kevin for photographers at any level looking to elevate their work in Sedona’s incredible landscape.

Spectacular trip, very challenging. The Andes, local culture, and Inca sites made for a rich experience. Cooks, guides, and arrieros were great. Kevin and our Peru guide Silver were very knowledgeable, along with being great travel companions. When we weren’t camping, the hotels were tops. We saw and learned so much.

I booked this sunset to stars photography workshop for my husband's birthday, as he is new to photography, and it turned out to be the highlight of our weeklong vacation in the Southwest for him. Kevin is not only an expert photographer and educator, but also extremely knowledgeable about the cultural and social dimensions of astronomy - probably a result of his training in archeology - so he regaled us all (including our kids ages 13 and 9) with many stories.
