On Thursday, October 10th, two of my friends and I traveled to Sight and Sound to see their presentation of Daniel. Prior to the show, we stopped for lunch at the Fulton Steamboat Inn. What a treat that was! The Inn itself is designed to replicate a steamboat of bygone years. Stepping into Huckleberrys Restaurant for our lunch was like stepping into Grandma's dining room. No buffet here, rather, our meals were presented as family style, appropriate for the comfortable seating arrangements. The servers were wonderfully attentive and the food was, as you might expect, just like dining at Grandma's. We three sat at a table with a couple and two other women, none of whom we had met previously. Thanks to the family style service, we enjoyed exchanging stories and getting acquainted. By the time dessert was served, we felt like we had met new friends. After lunch we had time to explore the emporium and other amenities on the first level. Off to the show where we arrived in less that 20 minutes from out lunch venue. As always, the performance was EXCELLENT! Costumes, sets, animals...all superb. The staff is so welcoming, seating so comfortable, and the bible story delivered in such memorable fashion. Our driver and tour host, as always, were professional, pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed Ellis Island. Also enjoyed John who was our host this time. Always enjoy the bus trips as you can relax in comfort.

It was a wonderful trip, amazing food, Mackinac Islands was a magical step back in time. Frankenmuth was charming village with lots of Christmas!! Thunder Bay, Elk watching was fun. This was a wonderful first adventure with GSG. I look forward to more trips.

Once again, Garden State Getaways bats 1000! What a wonderful time I had. Got to see much more than I would have in my own, this trip hitting on all the highlights that a trip to Memphis and Nashville should include. Many thanks to Faith, Allyson and John for making sure that the two bus loads of travelers were well taken care of for the entire trip.
