About this trip

A wonderful Radio City Music Hall experience,  it has been over 15 years, since my last experience,  this trip with Faith and GSG, was filled with HOLIDAY MAGIC...may 2024 be kind to us...terri...Teresa Finn 

We have been on numerous trips with Faith and they are always adventurous and well planned.  This year started with the Kentucky Derby, Land and Cruise thru Alaska and the Mircle of Christmas in Lancaster Pa was a great way to wrap of the year.  Can't wait for new adventures.

Had a great time. Food was delicious, the service was good, an the show was good. 

Hunterdon Hills Dinner Theater "Bee Hive"  A 60's Musical

A wonderful experience; much more than expected.   Tour guide was excellent, timing was perfect.  Just enough walking and riding and the walking was at nice pace.   Beautiful trip.   
To make it better; 
      Done know how this could have been handled, but the people sitting behind us were very loud and refused to stop talking.  Tony did a good job in trying to quiet them down, but they started right up again.  
      This is my 3rd trip with GSG and everything is usually organized so well, I was surprised at all the confusion and poor service at lunch. Got the feeling that they weren't expecting a large group.   I was served after my companions plates were cleared.  The French fries for our group were served after the sandwiches has been consumed.  My coffee came just as we were ready to leave.  The food was fine, but I wouldn't go there again.  I hope that in the future, GSG would choose another restaurant. 
       





Best of Brooklyn Tour

Loved everything about this trip!!!!  The sights, the tour guide, lunch at Junior's, Eddie's excellent driving skills, and Faith's ability to create wonderful adventures to enjoy. Would go again!!!

The trip was great. Tony the tour guide was so informative and funny. I especially enjoyed walking through Brooklyn Heights and seeing the architecture. Lunch at Juniors was delicious. Can’t wait for the next trip! Thanks Faith.

I enjoyed this trip to Tropicana very much! It was enjoyable from start to finish! Traveling, our lunch at Carmine’s, and the show Menopause all were great! I’d do this again! Thank you Garden State Getaways!!

 A lot was packed into the weekend starting with a cruise. Saturday was exhilarating with a parade, the Nauticus museum, the International Festival and ending with the glorious VA Tattoo show. Stopping at the botanical gardens in Norfolk on our way home was  the icing on this cake of this trip. Our hotel was oceanfront and the views and sound of the ocean were incredible. I’ll be looking forward to other trips with Garden State Getaways. 
I have to add that my daughter thought that my friend and I were going to come home with matching butterfly tattoos 😂
She was thrilled to learn what it was all about!

Not sure if awesome adequately describes this trip.  Perhaps AWESOME does a better job.   Or maybe I just do not know the proper words to describe how much fun, how incredible or how special this trip was.  From the moment we first got on the bus the fun started with Faith, soon accompanied by the maestro driver Eddie, having us laughing and enjoying ourselves.  And things just got better from there.  The cruise around the harbor,  the parade of nations, the visit to the USS Wisconsin, the sensational seafood buffet dinner at the Captain Georges restaurant, followed by the inspiring, emotional, and truly incredible Virginia International Tattoo and ending at the botanical garden made this another of Faith's must-do-again tours.  Once again we stayed at a great hotel with clean, comfortable rooms with the added pleasure this time of oceanfront views.  The food again was delicious topped off by that incredible buffet.  Faith did a great job, as she always does, of planning and organizing and we had the added plus of seeing John, her husband, and Allyson who were on the second bus.  Thank you Faith.  EVERY trip that we have ever taken with you has been wonderful and this one will be remembered for a long, long time as that Virginia International Tattoo was an unbelievable experience.  Faith, you are THE BEST.

I was blown away by how well organized and full of fun this trip was. Faith you are amazing! The hotel accommodations were top notch. The food was delicious, all activities were premium seating. The bus was immaculate, and very comfortable. Our driver Eddie was superb! Company was awesome as well. 

I wasn't quite sure what the festivities would be when I booked the trip. I would highly recommend this to every Patriotic American. It did my soul good to see so many people supporting our military and veterans.  Performances were superb by every Nation involved. The music, the dancing, bagpipes, drum line, drill teams, etc what more could one ask for! The cruise was incredible, seeing all those magnificent vessels, and very informative as well. The Nauticus Museum and Battleship USS Wisconsin, the NATO parade, The Tattoo, the Botanical Gardens nothing was left out!

 I will certainly be traveling with you again...and hopefully having other family members/friends join in on the fun!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.  I will share your concerns with the Tropicana.  It was a busier day due to the popularity of the show so there were more buses than usual.  I will be sure to address these concerns.    This helps make our trips as best as possible.

The bus and the people at Getaway were great. Nice meeting John and very personable.
The reason for the low rating is because the Tropicana and the long lines were ever you went.
Recent changes with the casino was very confusing with limited help. It took over an hour to get
our food.  The show was OK.  It appeared to me the tropicana is not doing well as the entire area
were buses with seniors and lack of help especially at the reward center. A map of the lay out would have helped locating thing as we had to ask where everything was.

We had a great time!  The bus trip was seamless.  Arrived on time, comfortable and had fun with games to win prizes.  Got to spend time in the casinos, had a fabulous lunch completely paid for by the voucher, enjoyed a walk on the boardwalk and trip to the fudge shop.  And last but not least, the show was phenomenal!  So many out loud laughs and by the end we all were on our feet singing and dancing.  Would highly recommend this trip.

We had heard that this was the best presentation yet. We have seen several productions at Sight and Sound 
 and I have to agree. This was just outstanding. Of course the food was great. The accommodations were great on the bus and at the restaurant. We look forward to being on another trip with Faith.

The show was great, the food was fine.  The driver (Eddie) is always great.  Sadly, our bus had a flat tire as we were preparing to come home and that delayed our departure for several hours.  We did stop at McDonalds once we got back on the road and at least we were s le to eat something.  Returned to Brick after  11PM.  It was a very long day.

It was an amazing experience. Lunch at Rafferty’s in New Brunswick was delicious and plentiful. Words can’t describe the show. It was incredible. Other travelers are friendly and fun to be around. Wouldn’t hesitate to go on other adventures.

Hi Donna, Glad you enjoyed the entertainment.   We have addressed the table seating with the playhouse and hope they will change for the future.  Thank you for letting us know.  

As usual - the entertainment was great and the food was good.  My only complaint - and I complained about this when I went to the Tina Turner review - is that they put too many people at a table.  We were 10 people sitting so tight next to each other when the table should have only had 8 sitting at it.  The worst part is - they had many empty tables and could have spread people out. This is the second time this has happened. I would think with the amount of business you bring to the Playhouse that they would comfortably accommodate you and your guests.  This will probably be the last time I take a trip to the Playhouse because of the seating.

Glad you enjoyed the show!   We have addressed the table seating with the playhouse and hope they will change for future shows.   Thank you!

I enjoyed the show but did not enjoy crowded into the table when there were empty tables. There was no reason to have 10 at a table. Eight us enough.

I always enjoy the company on the bus trip.  The show Harmony was terrific.  I have to say for the first time I did not enjoy the restaurant food.  I knew it was Italian, which I enjoy, however, I found it a little heavy.  I noticed a lot of people were picking over the food  and commenting about the amount of carbs they were serving.  Maybe next time they could offer some protein.  Thank you,


The play was wonderful - actors, voices and content all was entertaining.  The lunch was good and we weren’t rushed - all I all a very nice day!  Nancy B

The seats were great. Restaurant very accommodating due to dietary needs. Snacks were offered on bus but contained nuts. Some of us are allergic to nuts. Should at least offer snacks without nuts. 

This was a well planned and exciting time. The extras that Faith put together was adventurous and adventurous.  The cruise was very nice  and the extras we got by booking early made it so much more fun. After arriving at Port before flying home, Faith obtained busses to site seeing around the area before flying home. Otherwise we were at the airport for hours ahead of time.

The trip was fantastic. The restaurant  was good but a little bit disorganized.  Not enough people to assist customers and scattered food line.
The show was fantastic and beyond anything I could have imagined. Glad we went to see it. The bus trip was fun and lively with lots of participation.

Brooklyn Lights Dyker Heights Dinner and Tour

The Radio City Christmas show was spectular.  Hadn't seen it in years. So happy that I was able to go.  Lunch was delicious.  Glad we had the extra time to see New York.

We had a great time ...our driver  and leader were excellent.

Vickki was wonderful.  Dyker Heights was delightful.  The tour guide who showed us the beautiful lights of Brooklyn was very well informed.  Liked the restaurant - food was good 5 stars.
