Given the number of things to see while you are diving, one lifetime is not enough to see them all. Luckily, we have the Philippine Islands that put many of life's more exotic creatures in one place. Leaf fish, swimming crinoids, lionfish, flying gurnards, and many more of the most unusual animals are all gathered together in one place. Diving from the pangas is the easiest way to go! If you wish to try to grow gills, you can make up to five dives per day.
Stellar muck diving with one-of-a-kind black volcanic sand, sloping reefs, and coral gardens. Unique artificial structures are located along the coastline of Dauin, providing easy access to the top dive sites in this region. Critter life and muck diving are what characterize Dumaguete; however, this destination also has stunning reefs and passing pelagics, including barracuda, sea turtles, sea snakes, schooling snappers, and jacks. Here, you can expect to find flamboyant cuttlefish, frogfish, blue-ringed octopus, Mototi and coconut octopus, seahorses, flasher wrasse, ghost pipefish, nudibranch, and soft coral crabs, among many other species.
The resort itself is set in a small diving community with plenty of opportunity to see the day-to-day life in the Philippines. The resort's premier dive staff guides you on unforgettable dives, whether you are a novice or a pro. Bring your camera and a smile and prepare to be dazzled.

This trip is kid-friendly! Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your kids will be having just as much fun as you are on your family vacation. This resort features a kids’ camp packed with games and activities for your little ones. Between kids camps and nanny services, we’ve got your non-divers covered while you explore the reefs.
This location is also suitable for younger or newer divers seeking warm, clear waters for easy diving. This is a perfect trip for divers in our SSI Explorers program. Explorers ages ten and up are welcome to complete their SSI Junior Open Water Diver certification here with our very own instructors. This takes the difficulty of cold California waters out of the equation, encouraging a lifelong passion for scuba diving. Watch as your kids experience warm, colorful reefs, share their joy seeing their first sea turtle, and dive without all the restrictions of cold water suits. This is an adventure they will talk about for years to come!
Apo Island
To date, Apo Island is one of the most successful conservation stories in the Philippines. Apo Marine Sanctuary was one of the first marine sanctuaries in the Philippines with a maximum of only 15 divers allowed at a time. As a ‘no fishing zone’ it promotes & helps the regeneration of the fish stock. This site is world famous among dive enthusiasts as the clown fish capital of the world. Expect a vibrant underwater landscape, high biodiversity, a myriad of reef fishes and curious sea turtles.
San Miguel Reef
Great coral formation right next to an awesome muck site. Rare nudibranchs like sheep nudibranchs and seahorses abound this area as well as a variety of frogfishes and a promise of octopuses. Also seen here are sea kraits, many other nudibranch species, whip gobies, various crabs and shrimp, it's basically a macro haven!
Sahara Reef
A sloping reef dive site that can be a nice drift dive with the right tide. Lots of reef fish hang out here and green sea turtles are commonly seen in the sea grass. There are a few coral heads; moray eels can be found here with some beautiful scarlet cleaner shrimp.
Atlantis House Reef
Located directly in front of Atlantis Dive Resort, the Atlantis House Reef is a combination of sandy areas, artificial reefs, coral reefs, and seagrass beds. Turtles, blue-spotted stingrays, cuttlefish, and lots of other critters can be regularly found here.
Punta
The very first marine protected area in Dauin, it is a favorite dive site due to its proximity to the resort and gentle slopes. This is macro diving at its best. Expect to see schools of anthias, damsel fish, frogfish, ghost pipefish, snappers, barracuda, and crabs.
Dauin Norte
A sandy, sloping dive site with mooring blocks where we can find ghost pipefish, frogfish, different species of shrimp, crabs, nudibranchs and much more.
