Presenters

Gina Amaro Rudan

Gina is a Cultural Alchemist for X and is also the best selling author of "Practical Genius". Prior to joining X, Gina was a Diversity manager at Google where she created the Immerse VR project at Google. 

In the last ten years she has led her own private executive coaching and leadership development practice and has been a guest lecturer and trainer for organizations including TED, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Nike, Merck Co., Summit Series, the BET Network, the Interpublic Group, LinkedIn, and Stanford University, among many others.

Gina was a 2016 Aspen Fellow and also served on the Generation Listen Advisory Board for National Public Radio. In 2014 the National Association of Women’s Business Owners awarded her with their Hall of Fame award and in 2012 she was named one of the top ten inspirational twitter accounts to follow by the Huffington Post.

A native New Yorker, Gina graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Binghamton University and is a National Urban Fellow holding a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Baruch College in New York City.

Gina lives in Redwood Shores with her son and has a great passion for hacking consciousness.

Rajkumari Neogy

Rajkumari is the creator of the Disruptive Diversity framework and the author of The WIT Factor: Shifting the Workplace Paradigm by Becoming Your Optimal Self.  In 2013 she founded iRestart to address issues of team dysfunction, imposter syndrome, and feelings of exclusion.

She is fascinated by workplace culture, especially in the tech arena. She believes that every individual brings a superpower that often isn't fully unlocked. She provides expertise in team culture cohesion, diversity & inclusion, leadership development and organizational epigenetics.

Her unique framework culminates from 6 powerful methodologies that facilitates change within organizations swiftly, sustainably and permanently. She weaves humor and vulnerability into science and psychology to tell the powerful story of our basic human need to belong, especially at the workplace.

Over the last 20 years, she has worked with organizations worldwide, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, HopSkipDrive, Wells Fargo, Shuddle, Cisco Systems, Facebook, Sony, Adobe, JVC and Amazon. 

Holding a Master’s Degree in Transformative Leadership Development from the California Institute of Integral Studies, Rajkumari sits quite comfortably at the intersection of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), technology, culture and empathic language for business.

Possessing a rare blend of techno-babble and touchy-feely, she  believes that the qualities of passionate self-reflection and dedicated curiosity (two sides of the same coin) define true leadership.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy - The $500 retreat deposit is non-refundable.  If you need to cancel your participation, you can transfer your spot to another woman in tech/science of your choice.  If we have a waiting list, we can transfer your spot for you ($75 transfer fee applies if we make the transfer for you).

There are no refunds, even when paid in full, though transfers are allowed up to 2 weeks before the start of the retreat.

The décor celebrates ranch life and the wonderful expansive view. Barb's Place

Barb's Place is located directly across the parking lot from the main inn. This guest room has a queen bed and a lovely seating area with an electric fireplace, television and wireless internet.The bath has a walk in shower. Barb's place also has access to the six person hot tub located on the second level of the main inn. Outside it's dutch door is a small terrace with a seating area. There is a wonderful view of the entire ranch compound and the coast. A perfect quiet spot to watch a sunset or the ranch's happenings. Captain's Quarters

The Captain's Quarters is the largest guest room in the main inn building. The room offers 180° views of the rugged Pacific Coastline. The décor is rustic and reminiscent of the old sailing days. The Captain's Quarters is outfitted with a luxury king bed and bath amenities. The bath has a large walk in shower with a rain showerhead and a sitting bench. Located on the top level of the main inn's building is a six person hot tub and deck with up to 30 miles of coastal views.

Birdhouse Suite

The Bird House suite is located on the second floor of the ranch's Redwood House. The large room is divided by a wonderful redwood burl that splits the living and sleeping room. The suite has a small kitchen and dining area. The living area has a gas stove, flat screen TV and wireless internet throughout. The bath has a walk in shower, luxury bath amenities and robes. Outside the sliding door is a south facing ocean view deck with amazing views. The deck has a cozy two person wooden soaking tub, seating area and grill. Melissa Sutor
Melissa is a Mindfulness Teacher, Retreat Leader, and Diversity/Inclusion Consultant who has earned Masters Degrees in Computer Science and Engineering as well as Counseling Psychology. She supports individuals and groups in integrating the left brain and right brain to live balanced, authentic, and happy. Melissa was an engineer and IT project manager in Silicon Valley before traveling to over 50 countries on a backpacking journey around the world interacting with people of diverse cultures and engaging in indigenous spiritual practices. Connecting with the courage to live with deep meaning and purpose in her own life allows her to effectively and heartfully guide others in doing the same. She has led mindfulness workshops at many organizations including Google as well as retreat centers including Esalen Institute. Melissa is the founder of Dragonfly Healing Center and co-founder of Weirdworld, a Public Benefit Internet Company for radical social change.
