Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Amalfi Coast this autumn, where colorful cliffside towns and stunning views create an unforgettable experience. With mild temperatures and fewer crowds, it’s the perfect time to explore this coastal paradise. The waters are still warm, inviting you to relax on the beaches and take refreshing dips, while the season offers an abundance of fresh, local produce and seafood.

As your guide, I’ve curated a journey that focuses on authentic culinary experiences, from hidden local gems to traditional dishes like lemon pasta and the world’s best pizza, influenced by nearby Naples. You’ll also immerse yourself in the rich history and architecture of the region, making the most of every moment by traveling efficiently, often by ferry.

We’ll explore both the famous and lesser-known spots, including Capri and the recently acclaimed Ischia. Along the way, we’ll charter boats, enjoy music and dance with locals, and take in the breathtaking scenery from places like Positano. This tour is a feast for the senses and a photographer’s dream, but most importantly, it’s a chance to connect deeply with one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Arrive at Naples International Airport and transfer to Hotel Reginna in Maiori, a charming beachfront property just steps from the shore. Unpack and unwind by enjoying the hotel’s pool or the beach. As evening approaches, we’ll gather near the pool for a toast with antipasti and prosecco, giving us the opportunity to meet one another and discuss the exciting days ahead.

Once our appetites begin to grow and we’ve reviewed the program, we’ll take a short walk to Ristorante La Vela for dinner. This cozy restaurant has been serving fresh, local Mediterranean cuisine to both locals and travelers for decades, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Today we head to Minori, the next small town along the coast. Here we become authentic pizzaioli for the day! Our hosts are a happy, welcoming family who will teach us to make wood-fired oven pizza in true Neapolitan style. Enjoy song, laughter, pizza and drinks on the terrance. 

Next, explore Minori or return to Maiori to relax by the pool or beach. In the evening, we'll enjoy an aperitif before dinner at Pasticceria Sal de Riso’s. Enjoy a family-style meal of local pasta, eggplant parmesan, salads, sides and private dessert demonstration. 

Dress in your favorite boating attire as we embark on a vintage twin-mast, vessel for the day. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling and a tasty lunch with cocktail as we cruise the jagged Amalfi coastline. Toward the end of your voyage we disembark in Positano with free time to stroll and shop along winding streets. 

As evening approaches we gather for sunset and an unforgettable family-style dinner experience full of song and dance near the top of the mountain at the local's favorite, La Tagliata. 

Since yesterday was a bit longer than the rest, today is the time to enjoy a leisurely morning for yourself in Maiori. Relax on the beach, by the pool, or embark on a half-day excursion to Ravello or another nearby area of interest. There is no shortage of things to do, but remember, sometimes just rejuvenating poolside is the perfect pause.

In the evening, dinner is at another friend's place, this time it’s with Fabio and the Barbaro family. Being close, you can choose to arrive early and enjoy aperitifs by the pool, take a dip or just gaze at the epic mountain valley views. The evening will be filled with local cuisine, good cocktails, live music and dancing in an warm, authentic atmosphere.  

This morning, we take a ferry to the nearby bustling port and hub town of Amalfi. Here we visit the lemon groves with our hosts, Salvatore and family, learning about the history and cultivation of lemons. Enjoy a Limoncello-making lesson, followed by a delightful lunch on site. 

After lunch, spend some time exploring Amalfi on your own, through picturesque streets, visiting the historical paper museum, the famous church and Duomo or just relax to people watch. Later we meet for dinner back in Maiori on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea.

Today we say goodbye to Maiori and our friends at Hotel Reginna as we set off for the UNESCO ruins of Pompeii. Our expert guide, Mario, will share unique perspectives on the remarkable history of this globally recognized excavation. After lunch near Pompeii, we head off to Sorrento to check-in to our ideally located hotel.  Antiche Mura is a short walk away from Piazza Tasso, the beating heart of Sorrento, which leads to a maze of bustling streets. Tonight, we enjoy an authentic dinner and visit to a local farm, Le Sorgente.

Today, we set out to sea once more, cruising by ferry to the enchanting “Isola Verde” - the lush island of Ischia. Our historian guide will lead us through the fascinating history of the iconic Aragonese Castle, a fortress steeped in centuries of stories. Afterwards, savor a seaside lunch featuring the freshest local seafood specialties.

From here, our private boats whisk us away toward the colorful shores of Procida, where we’ll pause to capture photos of the postcard - perfect Marina Corricella, its pastel houses lining the water’s edge.

As we ferry back to Sorrento, watch the sun sink into the horizon behind us. After refreshing at the hotel, the evening is yours to wander Sorrento’s charming streets - perhaps starting with its most celebrated gelato. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own at one of the town’s many inviting trattorias.

Today, we set sail once more for a full day of discovery on the spectacular Isle of Capri. The island is yours to explore - perhaps venture into the legendary Blue Grotto, glide above Anacapri on the scenic chairlift, browse charming boutiques, wander along picturesque trails, or simply savor the art of people-watching with an Aperol Spritz in hand.

Upon our return to the mainland, we’ll gather for a memorable finale dinner at Bagni Delfino, a beloved Sorrento restaurant perfectly perched by the sea, offering breathtaking views of the bay and majestic Mount Vesuvius.
