About this trip

Come along on a 7 night traveling retreat as we explore the subtropical East Coast of South Africa with Chelsea Seaman. We'll combine mindfulness, restoration, strength with relaxation, self reflection and inspiration and did we mention we'll be on safari?! Join us for daily yoga classes and workshops (tailored to the interests and levels of those attending) as we explore this magnificent part of the world - together.

Kevin Hofer, professional photographer and body movement practitioner, will be joining this adzenture to help us capture the experience.

Meet your Retreat Leader

As a mom of three, Chelsea fell in love with the quiet stillness that yoga offers and her practice has moved way beyond the physical asana and has become her favourite outlet. Since discovering yoga and receiving her 200 HR RYT certification,  her passion for sharing the practice as well as her love of travel continues to grow.  Chelsea is the author of Rising Up Stronger, a strength building guide that focuses on drills to increase stability and strength in inversions and arm balances, and she is currently working on Rising Up Stronger 2.0.

LOCATION #2 - Ndaka Safari Lodge within the Nambiti Private Game Reserve. Set in KwaZulu-Natal on 22,000 magnificent acres near the town of Ladysmith, Nambiti is situated in a malaria-free area, meaning that guests don’t have to take medication before visiting. This reserve boasts the attractions of the Big 5, the only one in the area to do so, and Nambiti’s biodiversity (it encompasses grasslands, riverine bush, savannah and thornveld) ensures a thrilling and unprecedented diversity of game (there are 40 other game species besides the big 5) and birding sightings.

LOCATION #3 - Pumula Retreat is situated on the subtropical East Coast of South Africa, 120km south of Durban, in the Umzumbe area. The large property boasts breath-taking sea views, has direct access to the forest, and is only 1km away from the beach. The attraction of the location is the quiet environment, the privacy and the spectacular natural surroundings. The South Coast boasts sunny weather all year around and the warm Indian Ocean allowing outdoor activities to be carry out such as surfing, scuba diving, horse riding, hiking, paragliding, etc.  The large well wooded garden – 18700m2 enables guests to reconnect with nature and spot the local wildlife such as duiker, bushbuck (local antelope) and birdlife, as well as finding peace and tranquillity amongst the trees. Amazing. Yoga was great, however, the activities stands out most to me. From the cooking class to the holy temple, this retreat has been more than I’ve imagined.
This trip is one of my all time favorites. Kelly did an amazing job! Love her yoga. Samadhi Sacred Valley is the most beautiful and stunning place. The food was amazing. The retreat was a perfect balance of yoga, exploration and socialization. My hopes are that I'm able to do another retreat with Kelly in the future.
The experience was unbelievable! If you are looking for a yoga retreat, look no further. It had everything-- fantastic food, the right amount of local culture mixed with a great balance of yoga and rest. It was exhilarating, rewarding and rejuvenating. Sign up right away, you won't regret it
I had the most amazing time with Chelsea and Adzenture Retreats, every little detail was thought about so that myself and everyone else on the retreat had the most memorable, magical experience. This trip was life changing for me and the perfect way to experience and explore Peru as a solo traveler. I couldn’t recommend Adzenture Retreats enough.
Amongst the Scared Valley Mountains I was able to connect deeply with myself and nurture beautiful lifelong friendships. I am so grateful I made the decision to go on this retreat and journey back to myself beneath the Peruvian sky. The physical space was incredible and the Sacred Valley Mountains were breathtaking to say the least. Each and every one of us was spiritually served with respect, love, kindness, and humble hospitality by the staff and owners at the resort and Adzenture Retreats. Each meal was made with intention using ingredients from their own garden and local farms, and each villa was tended to with care and thought. Every aspect of the retreat was planned with intention, aligning each adventure or activity with the retreat theme – it was magical. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience: salsa dancing, market wandering, Macchu Picchu gazing, Rainbow Mountain hiking, quiet bonfires, and endless laughter with new sisters was everything I needed. Thank you for the experience; thank you for my new, beautiful friends and family; thank you for this beautiful adventure in Perudise.
