"Awaken Within": A Yoga of Awareness Retreat for Women
This retreat is designed to welcome both beginners and experienced yogis with emphasis on mindful living, discovering or deepening your yoga ritual, and cultivating self-awareness in a supportive, inclusive environment. You will return home with an adaptable yoga tool kit for integrating yoga into daily life on and off the mat. You will re-discover your Karma: the lessons you need to integrate into this lifetime to discover your joy-filled authentic self! You will return home with a deeper understanding of Kriya-yogah: Yoga in action, that helps you mentally tackle the hurdles of your day to day life. This practice is not limited to physical yoga on a mat, but yoga that helps you solve the real-world problem in front of you, moment-by-moment.
Yoga of Awareness refers to the deep, conscious understanding and presence that arises through the consistent practice of yoga. Yoga is more than just doing the postures (Asanas) - it’s about developing mindful awareness of the body, breath, mind, emotions, and spirit. We will weave together these elements along with Yoga's sister, Ayurveda, to cultivate a self-loving practice that suits your body and soothes your dominant element (Dosha) to discover what balance feels like, so you can operate in the world as your happiest and highest self.
Yoga of Awareness is the state of being fully present and attentive in each moment of your practice and your life, observing without judgement, and cultivating a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
Yoga of Awareness transforms yoga from exercise to a life practice. We become more present and mindful in daily life. Yoga of Awareness builds resilience, compassion, and emotional intelligence. Cultivating Yoga of Awareness helps you live more intentionally and with less reactivity.
