I’ve travelled to over 60 countries, and one thing has always guided my journeys a genuine interest and curiosity to explore new foods culture, and the everyday life of a destination.
Kenya became my 60th country, and it completely captured my heart. It was the warmth of the people the energy of Nairobi and the beauty of its wildlife, Kenya felt like the perfect place to begin something I had been dreaming about for years.
After years of procrastinating, planning, and praying, I finally launched Ayoviama, my travel company created to curate meaningful journeys rooted in food, culture, and connection.
And there was no better place to start than Kenya.

Option 2: Pay in 4
Spread the cost of your Kenya experience across four manageable installments. Payments will be automatically scheduled, allowing you to plan with ease while securing your place on the trip.
Option 3: Pay in 8
For greater flexibility, you may choose to pay an initial deposit followed by seven smaller installments. This option is designed to support those who prefer more frequent, lower payments while preparing for the journey.

As we expect many of you will be travelling from various parts of the world, we will coordinate a designated meeting point and time to ensure a smooth start to the journey.
For your peace of mind, all travellers must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers the full duration of the trip, including medical care and unforeseen cancellations.
Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Ayoviama host and fellow travellers.
After settling in, we’ll come together for a relaxed welcome dinner, enjoying a selection of local dishes and easing into the journey as we get to know one another and set the tone for the days ahead.
The day begins with a relaxed morning start, giving you time to enjoy breakfast and ease into the rhythm of Nairobi. Once ready, we’ll head out to explore the city’s vibrant energy and everyday life.
We’ll spend the morning discovering Nairobi’s markets and neighbourhoods, gaining insight into local culture, history, and the rhythms of the city. This is a chance to see Nairobi beyond the headlines colourful, creative, and full of character.
W will enjoy a curated food tour, sampling some of Kenya’s most loved dishes while learning about the stories, ingredients, and influences behind the cuisine. Expect bold flavours, local favourites, and plenty of moments to pause, taste, and connect as a group.
After lunch, there will be time to rest, refresh, or explore at your own pace before we regroup later in the day.
The evening offers a more relaxed pace, with dinner in a carefully selected local spot. This is a time to unwind, reflect on the day, and enjoy meaningful conversation as we continue building connection within the group.
The day begins with an early start as we head out for a safari experience in Nairobi National Park, where you’ll enjoy a guided game drive and the rare opportunity to see wildlife roaming freely against the backdrop of the city skyline. Expect to spot a range of animals in their natural habitat while learning about Kenya’s conservation efforts and ecosystems.
Following the safari, we’ll visit the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll have the chance to get up close to these incredible animals and learn about important conservation and education initiatives. We’ll then continue to the Sheldrick Elephant Nursery, gaining insight into the care and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants and the vital work being done to protect Kenya’s wildlife.
The afternoon offers time to rest and reflect on the day’s experiences before regrouping later to share stories, unwind, and enjoy the evening at a relaxed pace.
After the excitement of the safari, we’ll journey to a Maasai village for a meaningful cultural experience. This visit offers the opportunity to learn about Maasai traditions, daily life, and heritage, guided by members of the community themselves.
You’ll gain insight into customs, storytelling, and the values that shape Maasai culture, with time to ask questions and engage respectfully. This experience is designed to foster understanding and appreciation, creating a deeper connection to Kenya’s people and traditions.
The afternoon will unfold at a relaxed pace, allowing time to reflect, rest, and take in the richness of the experience before continuing our journey.
We’ll begin the day with a slow, relaxed morning, giving you time to rest, enjoy breakfast, and ease into the day at your own pace.
Later, we’ll head out to Kura Waterfalls, a beautiful natural escape where you can unwind, take in the scenery, and enjoy time surrounded by nature. There will be opportunities to relax, take photos, and simply be present in the peaceful surroundings.
Following our time at the waterfall, we’ll enjoy a local lunch before returning with time to rest or explore independently. The evening will be unhurried, allowing you to recharge and reflect after several full days of adventure.
After a busy and fulfilling week, today is designed to be an intentionally slow and flexible day. You’ll have the option to shop for Kenyan crafts and souvenirs, enjoy some of Nairobi’s best restaurants, visit a museum or gallery, book a spa treatment, or simply rest and recharge before onward travel.
This day allows you to move at your own pace, choosing how you’d like to spend your time while soaking in the final moments of the city.
Enjoy a final breakfast before transferring to the airport for your onward flight home, bringing the Ayoviama Kenya experience to a close.
