This week-long multi-activity holiday on São Miguel Island offers  the perfect mix of activities — from adventure to culture and sightseeing options, while also making time to relax in fabulous  surroundings. You will be exploring this magical green island, its beautiful waterfalls, and hidden spots in nature. This holiday in the Azores includes 4 activities led by our experienced and friendly guides. This is our most adventurous cycling itinerary, visiting all the main highlights of Sete 

Cidades while taking you up steep inclines, covering hard terrain and ending with a 

downhill track, making it the ideal tour for experienced cyclists with a taste for adrenaline. The estimated cycling time is of around 5 hours, where you will be taking a circular route covering around 38km in distance.

If you don’t like cycling, we have other options to experience the magic of Sete Cidades, such as hiking around, or stand-up-paddling in the lagoon.

Your day will end with a swim in the Ferraria Ocean Hot Spring. Contact us to customize your day! 

 Take a boat ride out to sea and keep your eyes open for the different species of whale  that pass through our waters. If you’re lucky, you might spot whale cubs too, as the  Azores is known to be the perfect haven for whales to have their young. You never  know what you’re going to see when you’re out on the water, but with a knowledgea ble and sharp-eyed marine biologist on board you will surely get the most out of this  wild experience.

Book a guided hike up to Lagoa do Fogo and witness the beauty of the island’s central volcanic crater. 

Enjoy stunning views of the south coast, including the Vila Franca do Campo islet and discover the various endemic plant species along the way, such as the Azorean blueberry.

If you’d rather like to take it easy but still experience Lagoa do Fogo, you can also book a Jeep Tour!

You will spend the day in Furnas, a litlle village with a beautiful lagoon known for its volcanic activity.

You will start with an easy 4 km circular walk around the lagoon, that is covered in lush green nature, taking around 2.5 hours to complete.

If you'd like to include an extra adventure to this walk, contact us to add a visit to the Azores Treetop Park, where you can explore our forests from above!

We'll then visit the parish, where you will see fumaroles, boiling water on the ground and taste the water from the famous springs.

For lunch you’ll taste Cozido das Furnas, a local dish with a variety of meats and vegetables, slow-cooked underneath the ground by the volcanic vapors.

Unwind with a relaxing visit to the botanical garden and a hot bath at a natural thermal spring.

Let the thrills and adrenaline of canyoning sweep you away.

Explore magnificent streams and waterfalls using different canyoning techniques, such as jumps (optional), rappels, and water slides.

Undoubtedly, the most thrilling and adventurous way to experience Azorean nature up-close in one of the most beautiful locations on the island.

Feel free to sleep in and take it easy.

Maybe spend the day at a nearby beach and have a lovely lunch by the sea or stroll through the streets of the city discovering the various artisanal shops in the historic center of Ponta Delgada.
