This meditation intensive will focus on the Root Chakra. This chakra is foundational to our mental health, and the one word that I like to describe a balanced and healthy root chakra is TRUST. Trust in our particular process, trust in our future, and trust in other people.
This trust often becomes undermined through trauma and various challenges that we face. When the root chakra is unbalanced, we over-worry about the security of ourself and our family. Instead of feeling excited about our future, we develop fears around security.
During this meditation intensive, we will be working with the long form Ganesha mantra. This particular mantra is a powerful remover of obstacles, so that we can move forward into our future with ease instead of worry.
We will also practice a kriya, or moving mediation, to connect to the energy of our root chakra. This Kriya can bring an incredible sense of grounding, and help to keep us present to the experience of life. It can also bring up various traumas from the past so that we can see them, feel them, and heal them. I am always available during the session to offer support during challenging moments, should they arise.
And finally, we will also incorporate 2 simple and transformational psychic development exercises. These are powerful breathing techniques to integrate the work of the root chakra practices, and clear the psychic channels. These exercises develop our clarity and intuition. And will bring a sense of lightness to balance the root chakra work, which can feel heavy at times.
This meditation intensive is for everyone! People new and old to meditation are all welcome!
We will meet Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00 - 11:15 am NYC time. All sessions are recorded so that students can watch the recording if they cannot attend live.
