Not many alumni communities share the experience of spending a summer selling door to door. The long days, the countless “no’s,” the lessons learned, and the growth that came with it created a connection that lasts long after the summer ends.
That’s what makes traveling together different. You’re not showing up with a group of strangers—you’re reconnecting with people who understand the experience, share the stories, and know what it meant to be part of something unique.
On these trips, you’re not starting from scratch. You’re simply picking up where you left off.
The adventure begins! Arrive in Nairobi, get settled in, and shake off the jet lag before reconnecting with old friends and making a few new ones. Tonight, we’ll gather for a relaxed Alumni Welcome Dinner—the perfect chance to swap travel stories, raise a glass to the adventure ahead, and get everyone excited for the wild days to come.
Come hungry, come curious, and come ready for a little Hakuna Matata. The safari starts tomorrow!
Time to trade the big airport for the bush! We’ll hop aboard a small local flight and soar over Kenya’s spectacular landscape, landing at a nearby airstrip at Ol Pejeta Conservancy—where the runway is about as wild as the destination!
Once we touch down, the safari adventure truly begins. Keep your eyes peeled: the first wildlife sightings may happen before we even leave the airstrip! Buckle up, soak in the views, and get ready for bush planes, big skies, and an unforgettable day on safari.
For the next few days, it’s time to leave the ordinary behind and embrace the extraordinary at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. With game drives, incredible landscapes, and plenty of opportunities to spot Kenya’s iconic wildlife, every day promises a new adventure.
And the best part? We get to experience it all together—reconnecting with old friends, sharing plenty of laughs, swapping stories over sundowners, and discovering who has the sharpest eyes when it comes to spotting wildlife!
From elephants and lions to rhinos and everything in between, no two game drives are alike. So grab your binoculars, charge your camera, and prepare for a few unforgettable days of wildlife, friendship, and alumni adventure.
All good things must come to an end—including our time in the wild! After a final morning at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, we’ll say goodbye to our safari home, our incredible guides, and hopefully a few four-legged friends we’ve come to know along the way.
Then it’s back to the airstrip for a scenic flight to Nairobi, trading bush tracks and wildlife for city streets. Take one last look out the window, swap your favorite safari stories, and start reminiscing about the adventures we’ve shared.
One last flight, a thousand memories, and plenty of stories to bring home!
