Join me in Minnesota for a 4 day/3 night backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail to see stunning fall colors and hike this epic route.

I first hiked this section of the trail in 2020 and fell in love with the views and the experience of backpacking as a whole.

 And in 2021, I led my first Superior Hiking Trail group trip. Check out the highlights here.

Welcome to the beautiful North Shore of Minnesota!  

We will check into the Mountain Inn where we will have our welcome dinner & information meeting! 

Bring your packed backpack because we'll be going over everything to double check you have the necessary gear before setting out on the trail.  

In the morning, there is grab and go breakfast available in the hotel lobby for purchase.

We will leave the hotel at 8:30am to drive to Oberg Mountain Trailhead so we can be on the trail a little before 9am.

2.6 miles on the Oberg Loop for spectacular fall views then 6.4 miles north towards Mystery Mountain where we will set up camp for the night! I

I’ll be assisting with photos and videos as we go.

Prepare for a full day of hiking along the beautiful trail.

I’ll assist with filtering water, bear hangs and everything you need for a successful first backpacking trip! 

Total distance today will be 6 miles. 

Enjoy a second night at camp with the group.

We will set off from camp and end at Caribou Trail including the beautiful White Sky Rock Spur Trail.

Our shuttle will pick us up and return us to our cars at Oberg Mountain Trailhead around dinner time. 

Your shuttle is included in the price of the trip.
