My trip with Vivid Roots to Guatemala (the Sage International Guatemala Impact Adventure) was absolutely incredible! The people were warm and welcoming, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Vivid Roots did an amazing job organizing everything, from meaningful community interactions to touring the markets, historical sites, volcanos, and lakes to providing safe and clean lodgings. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a transformative travel experience.

We had a great time and we loved all the experiences!

Unique experience, I enjoyed the people and culture as well as the service projects. There were a lot of extra financial expenses that I was not aware of. Renting a horse, paying for meat at meals, confusing tipping. The organizers of the trip were not in my group and I would have expected at least one of them in each group, so that was a bit off putting. All in all I would go again.
