The Backpacking 2.0 course is an educational course intended to help participants backpack smarter, lighter, easier, and more mindfully.
Our core curriculum is covered in 2 to 3 sessions:
Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 per cohort to facilitate meaningful discussions and individual attention. Many of our course alumni become lifelong friends and backpacking trip mates.
Classes take place in our open-air classroom in Berkeley, CA, or over Zoom video conference.
Each course is made up of 3 sessions. Content across courses is similar but configured to fit a given cohort's interest and skill level.
