Balanced Bliss of Pura Vida: A Wellness Retreat with Kenshō Retreats
with Kenshō Retreats
January 26-31, 2020
Join Erin Pikus and Mackenzie Sullivan for Kenshō Retreat’s international excursion at Danyasa Retreat and Ecolodge in Dominical, Costa Rica﹣just a 3 minute stroll to the Pacific Ocean. Nestled in a quaint beach town that lives by the Costa Rican phrase, Pura Vida (the simple life), Danyasa is nestled in the middle of town as a world of its own. The National Geographic Society & United Nations both consider Dominical, Costa Rica to be the most biodiverse place on the planet.
Kenshō is a Zen term that alludes to, "seeing your true nature." This 6 day, 5 night adventure will set the scene for you to deepen your connection to yourself and the world around you through curiosity, movement, and stillness. During your stay, we’ll supplement the diversity around us through a diverse blend of hiking, swimming, work-out classes, and introspective practices. You’ll also have an opportunity to give back to the local community and planet through a group act of karma yoga.
Be prepared to embrace the elements of earth, wind, fire, and water while witnessing and experiencing transformation. We’ll create balance through movement and stillness with up to two optional yoga classes a day, daily meditation, group excursions, and a specially crafted workshops in Thai massage & aerial yoga. You will also have the option to participate in the classes by Danyasa’s gifted yoga instructors or set out on your own adventures (additional pricing may apply).
In addition to the apparent element of social connection, we’ve sprinkled in mindful moments for self-care, reflection, and stillness. Whether you see yourself reading or journaling poolside, staying active at the beach, or connecting with new friends from around the world, we are confident that this international wellness retreat is the right fit for you.
