A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.

-50% of remaining balance must be paid 90 days before retreat start date.

-Total remaining balance must be paid 60 days before retreat start date.

Cancellation policy:

-more than 60 days before retreat start date 100% of payment previously made may be applied to another retreat, excluding deposit.

-30-59 days before retreat start date, 50% of any payment previously made may be applied to another retreat, excluding your deposit.

-29 days or less before retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.

All guests must travel with health insurance, be well informed of their coverage, and also know their 24hr contact line.

Soulshine has been created on the foundation of the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana - the 3 causes of happiness, which loosely translated means "harmony, human to human, human to nature, human to spirit".

Soulshine was created by Michael and Sara Franti and is dedicated to togetherness and the art of gathering people to share in the joy of wellness, music, incredible food and good vibes. Located in the heart of Bali, it is a jungle paradise - surrounded by rice terraces, ancient temples and a beautiful river that runs along the edge of the property. 

At Soulshine Bali, eating healthy is made easy and delicious. Everything is prepared with your health and wellbeing in mind. Local specialties, veggie burgers, grilled fish, creamy vegan pasta or a raw dessert, you'll always find something nourishing or indulgent in the menu. Our organic ingredients and produce comes from our own organic garden and neighboring farms. 

Hinduism is the soul of Bali with over 20,000 temples in Bali. Incense burns throughout the villages as the local Balinese offer their prayers three times a day to please the Gods. The air is sweet, and perfumed by the offerings. A sense of gratitude and love envelops you. We will be staying in the thousand year old ancient rice fields, still carefully harvested today in the old traditions. 

Ubud is best known for it's generations of artisans. Wood and stone carvers, silversmiths, painters, batik makers, weavers, these skills and talents are passed down and carefully preserved. Dancers move gracefully as their hands and eyes tell the stories of lifetimes ago. Bali is a feast for the senses with almost daily ceremonies celebrating the cycle of life.

Donna Dowson is a vibrant and passionate individual who has dedicated her life to promoting wellness through movement, meditation, and adventure.  Growing up as a dancer, she fell in love with the flow and grace of Vinyasa and Ashtanga when she first discovered yoga.  The constant challenge of physical, mental and spiritual balance has kept her coming back ever since. Her deep-rooted love for movement has guided her on a journey to become a certified 200-RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). She loves that there is a yoga practice out there for anyone who is willing to try. 

Donna started teaching yoga so she could help students discover the beauty of the breath, the ease of movement and the acceptance of self and others that yoga offers.  She brings a sense of empowerment and fun, both in the physical body and energetic spirit, to every class.  Always emphasizing the practice of honoring the body’s current state of being through ahimsa (non-violence), students are guided to explore all the possibilities yoga has to improve the health and well-being of mind, body and spirit. Her classes are fun, energetic and aimed at helping you find balance in your practice on and off the mat.

When you come to a class with Donna, you will be met right where you are, and move through a mindfully-flowing yoga sequence that is creative, fun, and challenging without being overwhelming. You'll learn anatomy and alignment cues to make all your yoga poses more effective and amazing, no matter what style you usually practice. Her classes often involve energetic sequences but also incorporate stillness in order to quiet the mind. Her welcoming teaching style, energy, love, & passion for yoga will keep you coming back for more!
