Day 3. Bali  (Breakfast)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and go to Ubud, the center of art and culture of Bali. Ubud Monkey Forest First, you will enjoy a visit to the sacred monkey forest of Ubud. This ecological reserve that strives to maintain the viability of the Balinese long-tailed macaque. It is also a nature reserve and Hindu temple complex in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Ubud Palace The palace and its temple, Puri Saren Agung, share a space in the heart of Ubud. The compound was mostly built after the 1917 earthquake and the local royal family still lives here. You can wander around most of the large compound and explore the many traditional, though not excessively ornate, buildings. Take time to appreciate the stone carvings, many by noted local artists such as I Gusti Nyoman Lempad. Just north, Pura Marajan Agung is a private temple for the royal family. The compound across from the palace has a magnificent banyan tree and is also used as a residence for the family. Ubud Market Set amidst emerald green rice paddies and steep ravines in the stunning central Balinese foothills, Ubud was originally an important source of medicinal herbs and plants. Ubud, in fact, is derived from the Balinese word for medicine – “ubad.” Visit Ubud art market located in the center of the town just opposite the Palace, stroll in the market and through the streets – the only way to really appreciate the special atmosphere one will find here.

Day 4. Bali Kuta (Breakfast) Today is a free-day at leisure. You can relax, be pampered, eat delicious food and soak up the sun. OR join Optional Tour to Water Palace with Lunch: $70/person Tirta Gangga Water Palace: Tirta Gangga is a former royal palace in eastern Bali. It is noted for the Karangasem royal water palace, bathing pools and its Patirthan temple. The one hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963.

Day 5. Bali Kuta - Ubud (Breakfast) Today after enjoying the breakfast, we will drive to Ubud (about 1 hour). On the way to Ubud, we will visit the Coffee Factory to have a coffee break and visit UC Silver store. Ubud still reflects the unique Balinese way of life as well as emanating a whole lot of charm and a low-key vibe that is irresistible. After check-in in Hotel, the rest of the day is on your own leisure.

Day 6. Ubud (Breakfast, Lunch) Today is a full day tour. Head east and discover rice terraces, sleepy villages, ancient temples and towering volcanos.
