Along the scenic Pastaza Corridor, we will admire beautiful waterfalls, lush vegetation, ecological trails, and hanging bridges. You’ll have the opportunity to experience thrilling activities such as bridge jumping, canopy tours, cycling, hiking, and canyoning—an explosion of adrenaline!
Riding on a typical chiva, a fun and traditional way to explore this route, we’ll visit the Agoyán Waterfall, one of the highest in Ecuador. Next, we’ll stop at Manto de la Novia, where you can take the tarabita (cable car) or cross the bridge to enjoy two different perspectives of the stunning waterfall and its surrounding biodiversity.
We’ll then reach the most impressive site of all, the Pailón del Diablo, named for the rock formation resembling a devil’s face and the waterfall that appears to pour into a giant cauldron (paila).
Throughout the tour, we’ll also see the Inés María, Bascún, Chamana, and Ulba waterfalls, while appreciating how the vegetation transforms between the Sierra and the Amazon regions.
