Day 1 - Bariloche
Upon arrival you will go to the hostel and have the afternoon at your own leisure. This first day is just to relax and explore the area.
You can visit the Swiss-like town plaza, try some of the delicious chocolates, and walk by the Nahuel Huapi Lake with its beautiful scenery to start feeling the magnificence of the Lake District.
Our travel advisor can also show you the best way to visit the Small Circuit, with amazing spots such as Cerro Campanario.
Day 2 - Bariloche
After breakfast you will leave for a full day trip to Tronador Mount, named in reference to the sounds the glacier makes when it breaks, similar to a thunder. This Mount is the highest in this area.
While bordering Lago Gutierrez, we are going to enter the National Park at the area of Lago Mascardi. In our first stop we will do a trekking to reach one of the most beautiful spots inside the National Park, with several panoramic viewpoints and cascades.
We will have lunch in a valley where we begin to appreciate Tronador Mount and its glaciers.After this we will approach Ventisqueiro Negro, the only black glacier in Patagonia. In this area we will continue our journey to reach a strategic panoramic view of this magnificent and unique place.
Our last leg will take place in a dense forest with small waterfalls. We will then return to San Carlos de Bariloche around 7.30 PM.
Day 3 – Puerto Blest
The boat leaves from Puerto Pañuelo and navigates the Blest branch of the Nahuel Huapi Lake all the way up to Puerto Blest. We will go past the Centinela Island, where the remains of Francisco Moreno rest. From here you can choose to navigate the Frías Lake through its milky-green waters.
This area is stands out for its copious vegetation due to the rainy weather. A stairway will take you to the Cántaros Lake, edging the Cántaros Waterfall. We will return to the hostel in the afternoon.
Day 4 – Victoria Island & Arrayan Forest
After breakfast you will leave for a full day trip to Victoria Island. We are going to navigate for 30 minutes towards Anchorena Port and start visiting the Island. There are several paths to reach the top of Cerro Bella Vista, you can either walk there or take a chairlift.
After spending time in the Island, we are going to sail again to the Arrayán Forest, the biggest of its kind around the world. The Arrayán is a native tree, well known for its reddish barks that make it so distinguished.
We will return to San Carlos de Bariloche in the afternoon.
Day 5 – Bariloche
Unfortunately today is the end of your tour. You can choose to extend your travels purchasing any of the optional activities in Bariloche or our available offers in the rest of Argentina.
