Bartolomé and Bahía Sullivan evoke a lunar landscape of cones and craters in different soil tones, light brown, red, black, green and gray. The pinnacle that juts out at Bartolomé, the weathered remnant of a cone composed of reddish ash particles, is one of the best-known landmarks of the archipelago.
Tiny Galapagos penguins are frequently seen, behind a cave in the rock pinnacle that houses a colony and sea turtles and herons make use of the quiet and beautiful beaches.
