Following breakfast at your hotel, depart for a tour of Historic Collinsville, which is nestled on 40 rolling acres. The tour will take you back in time to the mid-1800s and teach you about life for the settlers during this period. With 16 log buildings filled with authentic furnishings, you will be transported back to days gone by. During your visit, you will view special demonstrations, including churning, weaving, and spinning as you learn about life in Tennessee in the 1800s. After the tour, you
will visit sweet Charlotte, a fun shop that sells old fashioned candy, malted milk shakes, flavored popcorn and the largest variety of sodas in the state. Enjoy lunch on your own and participate in the Soda Showdown, a blind taste test of several fun sodas. This afternoon you will arrive in Bon Aqua, TN to visit the Storyteller Fann, which was owned by Johnny Cash for 30 years as he called it the "center of the universe." Enjoy a tour of the house and visit to the American Garage which
features a chock full of interesting memorabilia, including Minnie Pearl's Cadillac. You will also be entertained by Mark Alan Cash, Johnny's nephew, hear stories about growing up with Uncle Johnny. After your visit, return to your hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner. This evening you will arrive at the Great Biscuit Bakeoff where your group will divide into teams for a biscuit competition,
followed by a delicious dinner at Tanglewood, which features a pasta bar and chicken. Your day will end with a performance by the Passenger Creek Bluegrass Band.
