Looking to learn the game everyone is raving about, or ready to elevate your strategy beyond the basics? Join us at the historic Nome Schoolhouse for a relaxing Saturday morning filled with fresh coffee, delicious pastries, and American Mahjong!

This workshop is thoughtfully structured to welcome both absolute beginners and growing players in a warm, low-pressure environment.

Choose Your Track:

• Beginner Table Track: Perfect if you’ve never touched a tile! We’ll cover the basics—understanding tiles and suits, reading the official card, setting up the board, and navigating basic rules so you can jump straight into guided practice rounds.

• Intermediate Table Track: Perfect if you know the rules but want more confidence! Focus on sharpening your card-reading speed, mastering strategy during The Charleston, practicing defense, and playing at a steady rhythm with fellow enthusiasts.

Event Highlights:

• 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Welcome, check-in, coffee, and pastries.

• 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Tailored instruction, table practice, and social play.

• Included with Ticket ($27): Hands-on instruction, full set/mat setup, 1 fresh pastry, and 1 non-alcoholic beverage (coffee, tea, etc.).
