Have you ever wondered what Caracol Maya Site, might be like? Let us share it with you! Caracol is just south of San Ignacio Town. Located in the impeccable verdant jungles of Belize. The drive is very scenic, with small rural communities, farmlands, pine forests, Hilly terrains, and a sub-tropical broad leaf forest.
It boasts the largest Maya man-made structure, “Canna” rising 43 meters above the B Group Plaza. At Caracol, there are clean bathroom facilities and a picnic area.
Tour is approximately 3hrs on site, after the tour we hike back down to the parking area to enjoy delicious homemade pack lunch. We then drive back with stops at Rio on Pools. Drive time to Caracol Maya Site,2 1/2 hrs, which includes stops at Rio Frio Cave.
