I cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! Every aspect of the trip exceeded my expectations x10! The itinerary was outstanding! Our days were packed with incredible historical sites, yet somehow never felt rushed or overwhelming. We made the most of every hour of daylight, visiting significant battlefields, cemeteries, monuments, and memorials throughout honoring the sacrifices of Belgian, British, French, Canadian, and American troops. Our tour guide, Marc, deserves a 1,000/10! His historical knowledge, engaging storytelling, enthusiasm, and ability to bring history to life were extraordinary. Even our time on the coach became part of the experience. Marc made excellent use of our travel time, sharing fascinating stories about nearby battlefields, providing historical context, and preparing us for each upcoming stop. The incorporation of authentic battlefield relics by both Marc and Chris was another unexpected bonus, adding a tangible connection to the history we were exploring. The accommodations were great! The hotels were comfortable, the coach was spacious, our drivers were fantastic, and all the included meals were excellent. There was also time each evening to catch up on some rest or hang out with new friends. Having previously visited some of these areas independently, I especially appreciated being able to relax and fully immerse myself in the experience without worrying about driving, navigating, or coordinating the next stop. As a solo traveler, I can't emphasize enough how welcoming and comfortable the experience was. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and it was wonderful to be surrounded by like-minded people who share a passion for history. I arrived on my own but never felt like I was traveling alone. With the group meeting in London, those that arrived early - had extra time to explore the city before/after as a bonus. Thank-you to Chris for putting together such an exceptional trip! The care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail were evident from beginning to end. This was so much more than a sightseeing tour. It was an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of those who came before us and honor the sacrifices of an entire generation. If you love history and are considering a trip like this, don't second-guess yourself. Just do it! There is simply no substitute for standing where history happened. Reading about these events is one thing, but experiencing these places firsthand brings an entirely different level of understanding and appreciation. It was a fantastic trip. Good itinarary. No stops that felt out of place or were filler. A great guide! Good hotels. Good food or enough places to go for bite (if they are open ;-)) And most of all, a great group of fellow travellers. Thanks for organizing this!

We had a very good time on this trip. Everyone associated with handling the details were easy to work with and made the trip worry free. The hotels were all nice and the included meals were very good. The guide was knowledgeable and always ready to answer a question without being demeaning in any way. Chris was very approachable and made us feel included with the group at all times. Would definitely take another trip with Chris.

Great tour, as every single one organized by Chris. Marc, our battlefield guide from Leger was extremely knowledgeable, not only in WW1 history. Visiting sites of unthinkable suffering was eye-opening. Seeing land still scarred by the first use of industrialized warfare even after more than a century was way different than just reading about it.
