On the second day of the 7 Days, Kilimanjaro Climb through Machame route from Machame camp to Shira camp

After breakfast we leave the glades of the rainforest and continue on an ascending path, crossing the valley along a steep rocky ridge. The route now turns west onto a river gorge until we arrive at the Shira campsite.  Dinner and overnight at Shira camp  

 On day three, 7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Via Machame from Shira camp to Barranco camp

Shira Camp  Barranco Camp 10km;   700m; 2297ft,  600m; 1969ft
From Shira camp, you hike to Lava Tower (4600 m/15092 ft) to acclimatize and then proceed down to Barranco Camp. Tonight’s camp is one of the best on the mountain. Dinner and overnight at Barranco Camp (3960 m). 

From Barranco camp, you climb up through the edge of the great Barranco Wall. It’s a tough morning climb on a steep trail, but once you reach the top, the views are spectacular.
Dinner and overnight at Karanga Camp (4035 m/13238 ft). 

Karanga Camp to  Barafu Camp (4 km; 605m; 1985 ft)
Today is a shorter climb than the past few days, hiking up to the final camp before your last ascent day to the summit.
You must get lots of rest, as you will need all your energy for the climb to the roof of Africa.
Dinner and overnight at Barafu Camp (4640 m/15223 ft). 

• Rise (ft): Barafu Camp 4,673m to Uhuru peak 5,895m (Via Stella Point 5756m)

 • Stretch: 4.3 km ascent to Stella Point

 • Stretch: 5km Barafu to Uhuru Peak Ascent.

 • Hiking time: 6-7hours ascent / 7-8 hours descent

Then continue the descent to the Mweka Park Gate after breakfast so you can pick up your summit certificates there. It could be muddy and damp at lower altitudes. Trekking poles and gaiters will be useful. Most likely, there will be plenty to wear: shorts and t-shirts (keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy) When you arrive at Mweka Gate, a waiting car will take you back to your Moshi accommodation around 1 hour, The final day of 7 days of Mount Kilimanjaro Climbs via Machame route from Barafu to mweka camp.
