About your trip

Baja California sits just south of California and is the northern gateway into Mexico.
It is home of Cabo Pulmo, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and due to its location between two opposite seas, it's own array of wildlife and adventures.

Baja California offers diving experiences for all certification levels and breathtaking views, cliffs, and color contrasts. We will share water with abundance ocean life, sea lions, sardines, jacks school, turtles and gentle giants.

This expedition will take place during a particularly meaningful time of year, when the air is filled with color, music, and memory. Joining the local community in celebrating Día de los Muertos — the Day of the Dead — a heartfelt and cherished tradition that honors those who have passed with love, joy, and deep reverence.

For Mexican culture, a day of remembrance and connection - where altars glow with candles, marigolds fill the streets, and stories come alive through art, food, and celebration.

DIVING and SNORKELING

Personally designed - A thoughtfully curated route to experience the best and most authentic highlights of this region.

🌿 Off the common path - We’ve personally chosen paths away from the big crowds, allowing us to connect deeply with raw, untouched nature.

👣 Small group experience - Group size ensures a more personal journey, meaningful connections, and a lower impact on the environment.

A week together on the road exploring three very different locations above and underwater.

La Paz

La Paz is known for its rich biodiversity and spectacular underwater landscapes. Explore the Espiritu Santo National Park, home to some of the most exciting marine encounters in the Sea of Cortez. In La Lobera, one of the most popular sites, you can dive among 500 playful sea lions, creating unforgettable encounters. Explore reefs like Swanne Reef and the shipwrecks of Fan Ming and Salvatierra, with chances to see species such as turtles, rays, eels and, depending on the season, even whale sharks.

Cabo Pulmo

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cabo Pulmo is a jewel of marine conservation and a world-class diving destination. It is carefully preserved, making it one of the best places in the world to witness great biodiversity, including apex predators such as bull sharks. Over 230 fish species and 330 invertebrate species live here, along with resident sea turtles and occasional sightings of humpback whales. During peak season, divers can even witness the spectacular “tornadoes” of bigeye jacks, one of the most famous underwater sights in Cabo Pulmo.

Magdalena Bay

Wild Side of Baja California in the open side of the Pacific Ocean. The raw gem for wildlife lovers, known for its pelagic life. Set off on a 5 -hour marine safari departing from Puerto Chale (2.5 hr from La Paz). We will have the chance to encounter sardine run and a migratory corridor that attracts marlins, whales, dolphins, sea lions, mobulas, and even orcas. Not the typical dive tour, equipped with snorkelling and freediving gear, we will have close encounters with Baja’s giants, safely and respectfully guided by our expert captain and guides.
