Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. All cancellations must be in writing, and the date of postmark will determine the amount of refund due. At 11:00 am, meet our guide for the 2 hour tour of Pompeii: in the year 79 A.D., the town was buried by an extremely violent eruption of Vesuvius. The roads, monuments, homes and gardens and the inhabitants were "sealed" at the time of the eruption, laying underneath meters of ashes for centuries. Forming a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Herculaneum and Oplontis, Pompeii is a unique place ensuring an incomparable experience for visitors. Entrance to Pompeii with skip the line reservation. After the tour, stop in a winery for a tasting with light lunch at Cantine del Vesuvio or similar. Excursion to Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful cornices and charm of Europe with its unforgettable landscapes characterized by the colour of water, steep rock walls, the many olive and citrus trees. Stop in Positano which sits in a splendid panoramic position on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline. Its enchanting town centre of delightful pastel-hued houses surrounds the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, its laneways are lined with quaint, colourful shops and its numerous beaches are world famous. Then on to Amalfi, the oldest maritime Italian Republic, which today represents the centre which is artistically the most important of the Amalfi Coast. Its typically Mediterranean architecture, made up of lanes and characteristic white houses piled one upon the other, makes it one of Italy's most famous resorts. Meet our guide at the port for the full day excursion to Capri island, the 'Pearl of the Mediterranean', a resort since the time of the Roman republic which has charmed visitors for centuries. Ferry to Capri, you will visit the most beautiful corners of the island: from the port to the charming Anacapri, from Anacapri to La Piazzetta in Capri, then back to the port. In Anacapri, situated at a high elevation on the slopes of Mount Solaro, we will enjoy the spectacular views and stroll through the typical streets. Get to the cosmopolitan Capri (time for lunch), with luxury boutiques and the famous Piazzetta, meeting pl the oldest maritime Italian Republic, which today represents the centre artistically the most important of the Amalfi Coast. The cultural jewel of Sicily, with its monumental centre, surrounded by streets that run along the rich buildings and houses, Palermo has elegant monuments: the imposing Cathedral dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption (1185), the Norman Palace, an ancient Roman and Byzantine Punic fortress, the Palatine chapel, an architectural jewel of Norman art, which dates from the XII century; the cloister of St. John of the Hermits and its red domes.
Tasting of local products in Palermo with a food tour: experience its culture and get in touch with local people, tasting many of Palermo's street food specialties, such as 'arancina' (rice ball), 'panelle' & 'crocchè' (chickpea and potato fritters) and the historic Sicilian dessert: il 'cannolo' (cannoli).
Then visit Monreale, which preserves some veritable jewels. The Cathedral is a dazzling cocktail of Islamic, Byzantine and Roman architecture, with a cloister, dating from the XII century. You will see more ornamented balconies and windows, as well as the sumptuously decorated churches of Idria, Purgatorio and St. Joseph, and the beautiful three-tiered façade of the Cathedral of S. Visit of Noto, real jewel of Sicilian Baroque, belonging to the UNESCO world heritage list for its beautiful baroque churches and “palazzi.” The visit goes through the historical centre of the town and reaches the main monuments like the cathedral, the Santa Chiara church, Palazzo Ducezio and the Via Nicolaci, famous road for the yearly Infiorata-flower festival. And after the tour a relax moment is highly recommended: Noto's pastry shops and coffee shops are excellent with a wide range of Cannoli, Sicilian ice creams and Granite!
Meet the guide for tour of Siracusa. The Old City, a maze of narrow streets lined with palaces, sprawling over the island of Ortygia. It was here that the famous geometrician Archimedes ran naked through the streets, crying 'Eureka'!

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, we will have a guided tour of Modica, where Palazzi and houses rise from the bottom of the gorge seemingly stacked one on top of the other. Magnificent churches, with their inspiring domes, bell towers and intricate facades, punctuate the red-tiled roofs and visitors are struck by the uniform beauty of the whole. Afternoon: Private walking tour of Catania. The life of this city is completely linked to the "mountain" which overlooks it: the Etna volcano. The volcano has always conditioned the cultural and economic life of Catania, just think that the land here is extremely fertile thanks to the crumbling of lava rocks. The walk with the guide will allow us to discover the oldest part of the city, such as Piazza dell'Elefante, but also the part rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693 and therefore the cathedral, Crociferi street. The route will allow us to see the contrast between the sumptuousness of the dominant baroque style (for example in the cathedral square) and the "popularity" of the fish market, with its sounds and scents. Breakfast at the hotel. Private e- bike tour ( 3 hours) near Mount Etna. Climb on an electric mountain bike and take a look at the marvels of Mount Etna that cannot be seen from the road. We’ll cross age-old lava fields and the more recent lava flows which gives us an idea of the destructive force of nature on the volcano. We’ll also ride through on of the most splendid oak tree woods on Etna, the Cerrita. During the tour stop for a wine tasting & light lunch at Mt. Etna winery.
