Itinerary

DAY 1
Arrive Colombo- Kandy

Arrival at the Colombo international airport, meet with our representative and proceed to Kandy (approx 3 Hours).

Kandy a lovely city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings retains an aura of grandeur, which time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its center, it is the site of the renowned "Temple of the Tooth" and the Royal Botanical gardens home to one of the best collections of Orchids. Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry and its traditional dances are the most spectacular in the country.

Enroute visit Pinnawala Elephant - The Elephant Orphanage, located on the banks of the MahaOya, is mainly to house young elephants who

find themselves displaced and lost from their natural habitats for various reasons - environmental changes

due to development projects, being abandoned by their parents when they fall into pits & ravines, etc. The

most interesting times to visit is at feeding or bathing time when the elephants (40-50 sized heard) move from one location of the orphanage to the river passing through narrow streets Visit spice garden Enroute .Check-In at the hotel
