Glen Campbell is one of the most extraordinary rags to riches stories in popular music history.  The 12th child and seventh son of a dirt poor sharecropper born in the depths of the depression in 1936, Campbell drowned when he was a toddler but lived miraculously after his brother resuscitated him, and Campbell always suspected it was because of his musical gift.  From his time as a groundbreaking musician for Elvis, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys and many others there are few artists who have touched as many lives as the Rhinestone Cowboy.  By the time Campbell won his sixth Grammy Award in 2014 for his final recording, “I’m Not Going to Miss You,” he had won most every award and achieved every milestone available to musicians. One of the best-selling solo male artists in U.S. chart history, Campbell released more than 70 albums, selling 50 million copies with more than 80 songs charting. He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame. He won the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year, twice won the Academy of Country Music’s Album of the Year award and was named Male Vocalist of the Year by both. In 2012, he was bestowed the Grammy’s most prestigious honor, a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Glen Campbell Xperience! is the country’s premier tribute show to the legend, singer-songwriter entertainer performer Glen Campbell, the man and his music. This show takes you on a musical journey through the life and times.  Comprised of a trio of world-class musicians, the Glen Campbell Xperience! recreates this spectacular musician, this charming and polite down home country boy, the superstar, the icon, Glen Campbell in concert with amazing authenticity. The voice, the mannerisms, the onstage presence and charm, the guitar playing, it’s all there, live on stage. You will be moved as the show takes you through different stages of Glen’s life highlighted by so many huge hit songs.  The Glen Campbell Experience show was invited to participate in Glen’s week long birthday celebration at the Glen Campbell Museum in Nashville, TN.

The Glen Campbell Xperience!, will donate a portion of every show to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. They aim to abolish this debilitating disease in our lifetime, and with our help they just might succeed.

Excellent 3 day trip to the Maine coast. Accommodations and food were excellent. Kathy(Best of Times Tour Guide) and Kevin(Wilson Bus Lines) were exceptional. Bus was comfortable. The days were long, but we saw a lot; including a trip to the top of Cadillac mountain. Portland, Boothbay Harbor, Bar Harbor, Freeport...all in three days, two nights. Cost of the trip was reasonable. It was our first trip with Best of Times.

It was our first time to travel as an organized tour and we loved it. We were busy every minute. I loved that every destination we were handed tickets to shows and keys to hotel and we didn't have to wait in any lines. All the shows, hotels and tours were fabulous. We could never do anything like that on our own!! We could tell the tour director had experience in this - it showed and we were so happy!

We had a wonderful time!! The food was awesome, the service was fantastic and the DJ did a great job with the music. I highly recommend this day trip and will do it again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed the musical Chicago, the story of David @Sight and Sound was outstanding, the various stops in the Pennsylvania Dutch area were also great. The gentleman who was part of the U.S. Park service was very informative on the Gettysburg events and post Gettysburg history; Kevin had prepped us nicely for our time in Gettysburg and together these gentlemen made for an extremely interesting trip. Neither of us cared for the food, though the meal that preceded the Chicago musical, offered somewhat better fare than the stop after Sight and Sound…..but it’s only fair to tell you that one of us is an amateur chef at home and creates incredible and delicious meals…. Yes, I would definitely take this trip again. Very interesting. And the bus drivers(Mike, who was our primary driver, and Jim who saw us the rest of the way home after the switch) were outstanding!

I enjoyed the Pennsylvania Dutch trip immensely! Very organized and smooth. My one suggestion would be that the movies on the bus be watched with ear phones as on airplanes. I did not enjoy the movies and found the volume loud enough so that even with earbuds in, It was disturbing and difficult to talk over. It would prevent me from taking another long trip with movies without ear phones. David/Sight & Sound was the main reason I booked the trip and it was OUTSTANDING...a FABULOUS depiction of the life of David in the Bible...SO worth the trip! I do wish they hadn't booked such an EXTREME opposite "All That Jazz" "R" rated musical. All else was wonderful.
