Weather

Hikers should always be prepared for a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions while hiking in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Temperatures in the mountains typically fluctuate as weather patterns change, especially at the higher elevations. Be prepared for rain , shine and wind.

The weather in the region in the late May can be very different and it depends on altitude. In general, we should expect day temperatures in the mid 60s, dropping close to freezing at night.  The chance of rain is possible.

Wearing layers is the best solution for this. Make sure you take waterproof jacket in case of rain!

It was my second hiking adventure organized by Karina (the first one was to Patagonia). Everything was awesome: hikes, guides, lodging, transportation, schedule. I'm sure I would not be able to pack as many activities in 1 week if I planned the trip myself. Above all, Karina assembled an amazing group of people who made the time extremely enjoyable. I'm sure I'll be back for another trip.

I've heard of Karina's adventure traveling company from many of my friends who had a fantastic experience! I wanted to give it a try and wasn't disappointed. The trip was planned and organized very well, and as one of my friends said after reading Karina's bio " you will be fine, your guide looks legit " . ;) We have seen great nature, challenged ourselves daily, and at the end of the day ate great local food in a company of new friends. This trip combined it all for me! It's very important to have a professional leading the pack and Karina is indeed that. She is also very much of a peoples' person and makes you feel at home. I valued her input and enjoyed our many talks on this trip. We also had a second leader on the tour with whom she cooperated, Alex Mironyuk , who is an experienced adventurer, fantastic photographer and last but not least, a very fun guy. Kudos to Karina's leadership for putting together a great group and making all of us feel safe and welcome. I look forward to going on more trips with her!

I traveled with Karina to Patagonia in 2020 and it was awesome! Perfect planning & organization throughout the trip, including dealing with the unexpected (e.g. lost luggage). I really liked other folks in the group and made several new friends in this trip. I highly recommend Karina's trips to casual and semi-serious hikers, and plan to be a return customer myself.
