Yellowstone National Park has approximately half of the world's geysers, fumaroles, hot steams and mudpots - you can find them all here (enjoy this park without crowds this year!)
Grand Teton National Park, a home to several varieties of hikes, vast backcountry that expose the valley and the Teton range, is the perfect place for photographers, painters and landscape enthusiasts. The scenery will blow your mind away!

Hikers should always be prepared for a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions while hiking in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Temperatures in the mountains typically fluctuate as weather patterns change, especially at the higher elevations. Be prepared for rain , shine and wind.
The weather in the region in the late May can be very different and it depends on altitude. In general, we should expect day temperatures in the mid 60s, dropping close to freezing at night. The chance of rain is possible.
Wearing layers is the best solution for this. Make sure you take waterproof jacket in case of rain!
Participant can cancel their trip anytime prior departure with the following penalties:
- Registration deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your trip in 31 or more days before departure.
- Cancellation 30 to 21 days before departure - up to 50% of the Trip cost (incl. registration deposit)
- Cancellation 20 to 0 calendar days before departure – trip is non-refundable
Trip cancellation insurance is advisable; it protects all registration deposits and payments for both air and land cost.
- A small-size suitcase or Duffel bag for your main luggage (Note: Please don't bring bulky luggage as we won't have much room in a van trunk).
- A small backpack 25-30L for day-hikes (to carry a water reservoir, an extra layer, a hiking snack, sun block, and a personal first aid kit).
- Head lamp - optional (good to have light when your hands are free always keep it in your backpack on a hiking trail)
- Trekking poles – VERY RECOMMENDED . Note: Hiking poles are not allowed in carry-on luggage unless they are collapsable, but the rules vary according to airlines)
- Water bottle or camelback reservoir (1.5-2L)
- Several zip lock bags for your personal garbage/leftovers during hiking days
- Sunblock (UV 50+) & lip balm
- Mosquito repellent
- Personal toiletries : toothpaste, toothbrush etc.
- Your personal first aid kit (personal medications you can’t do without). The guide will have essentials.
- Face covering (needed on a flight and indoor public places, visitor centers etc)
- Ear plugs, if you are a sensitive sleeper
Outfit for hiking:
- Good sturdy high-ankled hiking boots, better if waterproof and well-worn before the trip (!) Please don’t bring brand new boots, try them a few times on hiking trails before the trip, to avoid painful blisters while on a trip
- Comfortable tennis shoes (it's good to have a change of shoes for off-trail activities)
- Hiking pants (shorts or yoga pants are not recommended – to prevent sunburns)
- Light long-sleeved loose shirt (for sun and bugs protection)
- A change of long/short-sleeved t-shirts for hiking (preferably a quick-dry fabric, not cotton)
- A change of long hiking socks (not cotton. merino wool is the best)
- Fleece jacket or light sweater
- A down-jacket for chilly evenings and mornings (down 700+)
- A wool or fleece beanie and gloves for chilly evenings and mornings
- A windbreaker / waterproof jacket (or plastic compact rain poncho is good to have)

Exploring geysers and hot springs of Yellowstone NP. You will learn about Yellowstone history and geology: “Why there are so many earthquakes happening around Yellowstone caldera? Is the super-eruption possible in the nearest future and should we afraid of that?"
Hiking around Mammoth Hot Springs – lower & upper loop ~3 miles.
Exploring geysers and hot springs of Norris and Lower Geyser Basins ~1 to 3 miles
Overnight in the lodge, West Yellowstone.
