About this trip

& Beyond is an intimate gathering taking place in the wild landscape of Hardwick Estate in Oxfordshire, on the banks of the River Thames.. a journey into the heart of nature, into our own playful heart  and into the awesome space occupied by our collective imaginations!

Now in our third year are always listening, transforming and evolving.

This year we delve deeper into our work with the elements and ancestral wisdom of coming in tune with nature surrounding us and within. Unlike other festivals we are creating a specially curated journey from the moment you step into the wild meadows of Hardwick to the moment of the closing ceremony. We weave in rituals, meditative ceremonies and offerings to the land so generously hosting us. We dance and sing, chant and stretch, play and rest among the ancient oaks. We pass on the mythical word through fireside storytelling and performance. We bring in local crafts and world traditions. The workshops range from deep Kundalini practices to Forest Bathing and Fire Walking.

What else can you expect?...

Kundalini & Hatha Yoga morning practice accompanied by live musicians, transformational workshops, gong baths, foraging, woodland walks, forest bathing,  kirtan, sacred movement, story telling and myth, mantra, ceremonies with the elements, chanting, poetry, singing, wild swimming,  gong and sound, medicine music, morning river ritual, meditations with ancient oaks, fire walk ceremony, Men's & Women's Circles, Children's Camp, love-infused plant-based Ayurvedic food. The experience of rest, rebalancing in a magical setting and deep remembrance of true self and beyond.

We will be eating fresh, organic, locally grown plant-based meals lovingly prepared according to Ayurvedic principles by Karen Buckland of Sadhama. Our gorgeous fruit and veg will come from Tollhurst Organic farm who use stock free farming to produce the lowest possible carbon footprint, cruelty free food. Their work is truly inspiring and aligned with our ethos of re-connecting and re-aligning with mother nature to live in more harmony.

The gathering begins on Saturday afternoon and ends on bank holiday Monday afternoon. Accommodation is provided on a secluded camping field next to the shores of the river with hot shower, composting toilets and freshwater. Tents available to rent if you can not bring your own.

Camper van's & caravans are welcome.

This is a family friendly festival. Children are very welcome. Sorry no dogs.

Surround yourself with 500 year old trees, wild flower meadows, stunning scenery, magical sunset views, wonderful wildlife & your community.

This was a really beautiful experience. Extremely well thought out programme and well organised. Beautiful food that supported our yoga experience. I met some like minded people and by day 2, I felt changed and greatly slowed down. The most memorable time for me was when we were practising yoga outside on the last morning and the sun came over the trees and started to warm us. One of the best yoga practises I can remember too. This weekend really gave what I needed and much more. Thank you lovely people!

This is my 3rd trip to hardwick estate and it honestly is the most magical place. I have come away feeling relaxed calm and grounded. The food is so nourishing and absolutely delicious. The activities and yoga were perfect and at moments very profound. The morning swim was particularly wonderful! The connections made during the trip will be cherished in my heart forever. I've made some life long friends from attending these retreats over the past few years. To top it off we slept in the pre-erected bell tent which was a great experience.. very unique, stress free and comfortable (slept so well :-). Thankyou everyone who made the retreat so joyful and the time and love that the organisers put in to making it so special. I highly recommend the retreats to anyone who wants to find that inner calm/peace and a break from the hectic world- the land and energy of community is really is a slice of heaven. Love Gratitude and blessings Leanne xx

It's my second time at this yoga festival. I found this long weekend totally, fulfilling physically and mentally. We got up at sunrise for silent medition and then joining the wild swim group for a tranquil swim, followed by yoga, all before breakfast, was the perfect start to the day. The location is perfect, the food locally grown and auvedic, the walks, yoga wild swims and fire side chats and chants where all sublime. I'll definitely be back. Thank you go beyond x
