Bhutan tour - 7 days
Day 01: Kathmandu – Paro – Thimphu (Bhutan)
After breakfast, drive to the Kathmandu airport and fly to Paro (1 hour 15 mins flight) (Bhutan). Arrival in Paro airport, your guide will welcome you and drive to Thimphu (65km-2 hrs), the capital city of Bhutan, transfer to a hotel, be refreshed, brief about the tour program and guided sightseeing around Thimphu, Buddha Dordenma & Changangkha Lhakhang and Handicraft center.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast meet the tour guide at the hotel and join a full day guided sightseeing tour. Visit the Zeleukha Nunnery, National Library and Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in the heart of Thimphu town and The Tashichhodzong, 'The fortress of the auspicious Religion". Afternoon visit Takin Sanctuary.

Day 03: Thimphu to Gangtey
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive Gangtey (Phobjikha) enroute visiting Dochula Pass (Altitude 3080m). In Bhutan, the passes are marked by a large Bhutanese Chorten and prayer flag. Afternoon take a walk around Gangtey village and visit Gangtey Goenpa, the only Nyingmapa monastery in this region.

Day 04: Gangtey - Punakha
After breakfast, continue driving to Punakha, the old capital of Bhutan, enroute take a short walking excursion to Chimi Lhakhang. Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong, a massive structure built at the junction of two rivers. It was the capital of Bhutan until 1955, and still serves as the winter residence of the monk body. You will also visit Wangdi Dzong, Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten & Suspension bridge.

Day 05: Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, drive to Paro along scenic highway, enroute visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the country built in 1627 which now houses the School for Buddhist studies. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which now houses the National Museum.

Day 06: Paro to Taktsang Lhakhang excursion tour (Tiger Nest Monastery).
After breakfast, meet the guide and drive to Sartsham Chorten and then 4 hours uphill hiking (optional: 2 hour of horseback riding on extra cost) will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment, commence a short trek to the viewpoint to witness a fascinating eye-level view of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang also known as the Tiger's Nest. After lunch a slow downhill trek to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to the hotel. Evening if you are interested, your guide will take you to the local market.

Day 07: Final Departure
Early morning breakfast and drive to the airport for the final departure.
