Katie Rose, owner of Floating Yogis & Yoga In Beautiful Places, started her yoga practice in 2016, and it quickly became a passion. After a 13-year career instructing competitive dance teams, it was a natural progression for her to become a yoga instructor. Katie is now an E-500 Hr Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor. She has completed multiple types of yoga training, including SUP Yoga, Goddess Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Wall, Restorative Yoga, and Assisted Stretching. Katie is also certified in Breathwork and Sound Healing, and is a Strategic Intervention Performance Coach specializing in motivation and empowerment. She is passionate about helping people create a life that is filled with passion and purpose. Katie is currently pursuing her doctorate in Performance Psychology, focusing on integrating performance psychology principles into yoga to help people overcome limitations, achieve their goals, and take control of their lives.
There will be a moderate hike with some rugged spots, natural paths that are not always paved, and several stairs. This retreat may not be appropriate for those with mobility challenges or other health conditions where daily nature walking, moderate hiking, and stairs would be challenging.
Retreat deposits are non-refundable. Participants who cancel their participation in the retreat may be eligible for a 50% refund less the deposit ($350) before April 1, 2025. No refunds will be given after April 1, 2025. Due to arrangements made with our hosts, there can be no exceptions to this policy. Participants will be required to sign an application and liability waiver to participate in this trip.

Arrive in Big Bear and settle into our private retreat space surrounded by nature. We’ll begin with a welcome circle to connect and set the tone for the weekend.
In the evening, you’ll move into a guided workshop focused on clarifying what you truly want and, more importantly, why it matters. From there, we’ll shift into a deeply restorative sound healing and yoga nidra experience to help you fully arrive, reset your nervous system, and anchor your intentions.

Start your day with movement and breakfast before heading out for a guided hike through the mountains. Along the way, you’ll be guided through reflection prompts designed to bring awareness to patterns, habits, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck.
In the afternoon, we’ll dive into a powerful workshop to map your current identity and understand how your past experiences and patterns have shaped your present reality.
After dinner, you’ll move through a guided releasing ritual followed by a breathwork experience designed to help you process and release stored tension—mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Theme: Understand what’s been holding you back—and begin to let it go.
We’ll begin the day with a grab-and-go breakfast before heading out for a morning by the water. You’ll experience a beachside yoga session followed by paddleboarding—an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, build confidence, and stay present.
While still at the beach, you’ll participate in a powerful “line in the sand” ritual, where you’ll make a clear decision about who you’re choosing to be moving forward.
You’ll then have free time in a nearby village to explore, shop, and enjoy lunch at your own pace.
In the afternoon, we’ll return for a workshop focused on stepping into your next-level self—followed by an evening session on building essential qualities like self-trust, boundaries, and taking action even when it’s uncomfortable.
We’ll close the day with a fire release ceremony, where you’ll let go of what you’re no longer carrying and fully step into what’s next.

Ease into your final morning with movement and breakfast before stepping into the final phase of the retreat.
You’ll be guided through a “timeline hop” session to map out your next 3 months, including weekly and daily actions that bring your goals into real life.
We’ll then move into a vision board workshop to visually anchor your next chapter, followed by a closing circle to reflect, integrate, and leave feeling clear, grounded, and ready to move forward.
